Summary: One Nov. 29 2024 I purchased a Pre-Owned 2011 Honda Pilot. When I expressed concern about the high mileage of the vehicle, the salesman Directed my attentio 29 2024 I purchased a Pre-Owned 2011 Honda Pilot. When I expressed concern about the high mileage of the vehicle, the salesman Directed my attention to the 100 day warranty prominently displayed in the showroom. On Feb 14. 2025—75 Days after purchase—I was advised by their service department that The timing chain needed replacement, without which the vehicle would be undriveable due to engine damage. When I inquired about the 100 Day warranty, they claimed they knew nothing about it, and refused to release’ my vehicle until I paid the rapid bill of $1911.68. In my opinion, this is a textbook case of consumer fraud. I have filed a form complaint with Suffolk County Dept. of Consumer Affairs. More
