This is now my second visit there to service my Flex for an issue. The first visit was stellar. I waited to review the dealership now so as to make sure the first visit was not a fluke. It was not. My initi an issue. The first visit was stellar. I waited to review the dealership now so as to make sure the first visit was not a fluke. It was not. My initial visit for service - other than routine maintnance- was with Kevin. He was polite, attentive and had a good sense of humor when appropriate. He was also honest. Based on my experience with him, I sought him out for the second and most recent visit for a warranty concern. Kevin recognized me even though it had been months and who know how many customers since; Kevin provided a level of customer care not commonly experienced. Upon meeting him again, he let me address my issues and then immediately provided a roadmap to solutions. He made a phone call right then and there to their specialist that could best address my main concern. From that call he was able to give the plan of attack: when the specialist was available, where I was in that line, how it would likely be corrected and when I could expect to have my vehicle back. The work was done in the time estimated. A phone call was made during that time to give me an update and follow up on a smaller issue. I was then called once more to say the repairs were complete. Once more at the dealership, Kevin greeted me and went over the paperwork and explained what may have caused the issue. I left with no doubts or questions. He also apologized for the car not being spotless, after three runs through the car wash The Flex still had some tree sap. I will use Apple Ford for all my service needs. When the time comes for a new vehicle, as long as Ford is providing a great product, I will buy it through Apple Ford. I want to enjoy their Customer For Life service. More
The only thing I thought was bad was the amount of time spent at the dealership. It was a real pleasure to go to this Service Department. Curtis Ford is a true gentleman, very kind, professional, and very cooperative. He had my car issue taken care of immediately even though I only called last night after suddenly hearing a clicking sound. When I called Mr. Ford he immediately had a good idea what the issue was, he took the car's VIN down to make sure he knew what likely was required for my specific car. I had an appointment for 0800 and I was back at my house at 0915. I highly recommend this service department and can truly say I was treated exceptionally well as was my car. This only the second time I have been at this service department, first time simply to find out where it is located. At that time I was also very well treated and even though I did not have work done, merely made an appointment for later this month, they washed my car as they did today as well. Great folks, excellent service. The N/A for price is due to my car still being under warranty so there was no cost involved. More
I couldn't be happier with the Dealership, its sales staff and particularly Justin King. Through a comedy of errors I drove away with a car that I didn't really want. When I discovered my mistake four days later and returned to the dealership the staff went out of their way to correct the problem... literally buying back the "wrong" car and selling me the correct one. Lots of paperwork and hassle on their part, but all smiles and enthusiasm toward me and my wife. Thrughout the entire process Justin kept "his cool" and his great attitude of service. When I finally drove of with "my car", Justin had made all the adjustments to the driver's compartment, including finding the radio stations I like and placing my seat exactly where it was in the other car. I appreciate the extra mile that Justin and the staff went to make me a happy camper and would certainly recommend Apple, and in particular, Justin to anyone looking for both a new car and a great sales staff. Switched warranties on what was sold to us on vehicle purchased at this garage. We are a reputable business in MD. We purchased a Ford heavy duty diesel from Apple Ford. We purchased a full priced F purchased at this garage. We are a reputable business in MD. We purchased a Ford heavy duty diesel from Apple Ford. We purchased a full priced Ford extended service plan warranty (nothing else) on the truck with the vehicle at the time of purchase. This is the premium Ford service plan - not any of the cheaper after market warranties that they sell for less money and basically cover nothing with a higher deductible. The after market warranties cover much less and cost more. Fast forward a year, we have this vehicle in a Ford certified garage for a major repair covered by this Ford ESP warranty - or so we thought. The Ford garage needing to do the repair says that we do NOT have the Ford Extended Service Plan registered and paid for --- but we have the contract signed to show for it and payment on our sale contract made for a Ford ESP. We placed a complaint with Ford Motor Company because no one at Apple Ford will answer our calls or do anything about this problem to resolve while we wait to get truck repaired. The garage first stated we had no warranty. When we object vehemently, they sent us an email saying that we have another after market product instead of the Ford Extended Service Policy. We disagree -- we have no copy of anything other than the Ford plan. We start a complaint through Ford Motor Company to get some assistance. Ford Motor called Apple Ford to discuss and Apple Ford will only state that we have the after market warranty (better than no warranty, but not what we paid for). The company, to include Laura Lower - Vice President, refuses to send us the signed copy of the "alleged" Warrantech agreement so that we can see what Apple Ford is saying that we purchased. We have asked Ford for a copy, we have asked the Dealer for a copy -- no one will send us a copy other than the Ford plan we have. The plan we have is signed by both ourselves and the dealership. Per the garage where the repair is being done, the Ford Extended Service Plan WOULD have covered all repairs in full on the day the truck was brought in for repair. We have sat a full week now waiting for someone at Apple Ford to fix this bait/switch of warranty plans from what we paid for on the contract. Apple Ford sold us this expensive plan at the time of sale. They took the money for it with the sale and wrote up a formal/stamped "Ford Extended Service Plan" contract and wrote in "Ford Extended Service Plan" also into the vehicle contract with the charge... and then apparently (per their argument) never gave us the warranty we paid for. It has been a business week - no one, to include the "Vice President" posted will respond to voice or email to resolve this as our Ford truck sits in another Ford garage waiting repairs to be authorized somehow. We have asked for the other warranty to be emailed, faxed or somehow sent to us -- no one will respond. Not only would we never recommend a dealership that provides this type of bait/switch practice in their sales, but to not come forward and return calls and provide information that they allege to have but will not provide in order to fix this properly and timely is egregious and is contract fraud if we did not receive what we contracted to purchase. We are taking all actions necessary, After what we have seen with this action, we will never buy another Apple Ford or a Ford product. If a mistake was made, which we acknowledge does happen at times -- even giving them the benefit of the doubt), the attempt that this garage has made to try to cover it up (such as refusing to provide a signed copy of what they state we have received, the unwilllingness of Laura Lower to step up and fix the problem immediately when reviewed and provide the consumer with what we contractually paid for and simply just fixing the issue) instead of fixing the situation properly by giving us only what we paid for so that the truck can be repaired in full under the warranty we signed/bought is unconscionable conduct. If this has been an error on our part, we are unable to receive any assistance or other information after multiple requests in a week from Apple Ford in order to understand anything except that we have a paid and signed warranty contract that Ford states was never registered after purchase. If this is true, this garage switched the contracts after purchase. More
Apple Ford was very easy to work with, they were prepared and pricing was very good. Bernie Zetlmeisl was excellent while Timothy Colbert made a wonderful impression from the Finance Department.
