Worst experience ever. I purchased a new ford on 6/28. The car had a defect with the sunshade that we expected to have fixed on 6/28, but was not. Brought it in on 7/2 to service but was told I would need an appt. They made an appt for 7/17. On 7/21 I called for an update and was told it had not been worked on. I picked the car up that day and was told they would need Ford approval to fix it...and the parts would need to be ordered. I went back to sales and asked if I could return the car since they had so many issues fixing it and was told it was too late. THe sals staff said they would find out about the warranty of the replacement parts. As of 8/12 still have not heard anything. Worst service experience ever, the car was returned to me on 7/21 dirty. The service people and sales stuff seem very disconnected. Lots of good talk from the sales staff, but no follow through. More
I recently took my truck to AutoNation for a collision repair, through an insurance claim, and it was an extremely frustrating situation. When I dropped my truck off I clearly detailed all the issues I wa repair, through an insurance claim, and it was an extremely frustrating situation. When I dropped my truck off I clearly detailed all the issues I was having after the accident, the same issues I informed the insurance company about prior to bringing my truck in, and gave them a copy of what my insurance company had already estimated for repairs. I was told I would receive a daily call updating me on the status of my vehicle which never happened. When I did receive a call, from the insurance company that was covering the claim, I was told that they were not going to cover portions of the claim. I would have to call the mechanic regarding the other issues because the insurance guy didn't understand what damage we were talking about. That is when the trouble really started. I called the first mechanic (Dave) and spoke to him and he told me he would have another mechanic call me back because he had never been informed there was another issue to look at other than my bumper. Another mechanic called me back and I began to describe the issue with my vehicle, as soon as he started to reply the store manager grabbed the phone and interrupted our conversation to tell me that nothing else would be covered under the claim. The manager didn't even know what we were talking about and he refused to let me get a word in edgewise to clarify the actual problem. The manager kept insisting we were talking about a different issue and he was adamant that there is no way it could have been caused by the accident, however he wasn't talking about the same thing I was. I even had to put my wife on the phone because I was getting so frustrated with the store manager (who isn't a mechanic and had never even seen my vehicle) not listening to what I was saying. He wouldn't let my wife talk either or listen to her. He was extremely rude and pushy. We had to get our insurance agent to call them to get them to take my truck for a test drive. They called the insurance agent back to tell him that the store manager could find no issue when he took the truck out and completely invalidated our concern, but a later review of our "tattler" in the vehicle showed he only went 2 miles with a top speed of 52 miles on his "test" drive which isn't going to allow someone (especially someone who isn't a mechanic) to accurately evaluate the performance of a truck. At that point they had no other "authorized" repairs left on my vehicle yet I didn't hear back from them for days. Finally four days later I called them to inquire when I could pick up my truck since they weren't willing to actually check out the other issue and was told they were waiting for me to call them. The store manager immediately had attitude with me and was talking over me when I was asking about getting my truck back. This man has no concept of customer service or even general decency. Based on their poor customer service, rude management and lack of thoroughness I would never recommend anyone bring their vehicle here, even if the repairs are being covered by insurance. More

Brought 2001 Taurus in for steam coming from hood-paid $90 for pressure test & was told it was bad heater core costing $1400-$1500 to repair. Brought it to another mechanic & after another pressure test i $90 for pressure test & was told it was bad heater core costing $1400-$1500 to repair. Brought it to another mechanic & after another pressure test it turned out to be a bad hose & mount costing $350 to repair-heater core was just fine. Don't know if incompetence or price gouging. Also had car in multiple times for oil changes & other repairs & it was never cleaned. They also used the same dead mouse in the same spot twice to try to convince me to get a new air cleaner. I have also REPEATEDLY asked them to stop mailing my VIN number out for sales & they won't stop. VERY poor service. More

I have been to the service department many times over the past 25 years. Quicklane has sure sped up the routine service. I have always been treated with courtesy and in some cases they have gone out of the past 25 years. Quicklane has sure sped up the routine service. I have always been treated with courtesy and in some cases they have gone out of their way to assist me with a problem regarding my vehicle. You would have thought that I could recall a negative experience after all of these past years but I cannot. Either I am lucky or the other customers are unlucky. I think one should consider that courtesy goes both ways More
Both my Husband and I had 7:30 am appointments. One vehicle for an oil change and new front brakes and one for some general maintenance. At 6pm that evening, we had to call to find out about our vehic vehicle for an oil change and new front brakes and one for some general maintenance. At 6pm that evening, we had to call to find out about our vehicle. Neither vehicle had been looked at yet. When asked why, Cindy told me they got too busy. Why did I have an appointment? We did have a loaner, but only one since both vehicles only had a few hours worth of work. The following day, work was missed and appointments needed to be cancelled due to Tousley having both of our vehicles. We finally picked up our vehicles at 6pm the following day. Cindy kept aologizing, however, it was too late. I brought my vehicle in very early, WITH AN APPOINTMENT!! Cindy eneded up not charging me for the oil change due to the "inconvenience", big deal! Also, one of the repairs to be done didn't get done, as the window that was to be fixed is still not working. There were also a few other things that were to be done that is believed not to be done, possibly because she was just trying to get usout of there. In the past, Tousley has had fairly good customer service, however, this isn't the first time they promised us our vehicles by a certain time and we did'nt get them until the next day. UNACCEPTABLE!!And guess what? we never received a survey in the mail, go figure huh? We've always gotten them right away every other time. I do not recommend Tousley Ford for any service!! More

I've brought my cars here several times for service, only because it's the closest to my home and work. Each time the service person does a walk around and then tells me that my tires are worn and should be because it's the closest to my home and work. Each time the service person does a walk around and then tells me that my tires are worn and should be balanced. Had to laugh when Jose told me this once since the tires were brand new. They don't even look at the tires, they just tell you the tires are worn. It must be their standard pitch. I used their website to sign up for 100K maintenance on one of my cars. The website clearly stated what would be reviewed and replaced and this included spark plugs for my vehicle. When I went to pick up the car Jose asked if I wanted the spark plugs done since Ford recommends this at 100K miles. I told him DUH, that's why I brought it in. Waited an additional 2 hours for the mechanic to change spark plugs. The price on the website has no relationship to the actual price you're charged. Pointed this out to the Service Manager and I got a coupon for free oil change. No one updated the website. There's nothing bad about the quality of their repairs but I've had better service and less hassles at New Brighton Ford. More
