I forgot to mention about rotating the tires and he had all ready taken care of them. I had a few questions and if Carlos did not have an answer he would check with others and get the answer. Enjoyed working with him. I do have to mention the staff at the checkout counter where also very helpful to check with Shawn Vang (Service Advisor) about getting an appointment set up to have Navigation and Satellite Radio looked at for loosing signal 4 times. This is my 3rd vehicle I've purchased through this dealer ship (Rich Aboody sales) and obviously I'm happy with this dealership and staff. More
I made a 6:30am appt. for Monday Jan. 17 and the truck did not get looked at until Wednesday Jan. 19th. This is a very bad business approach in my humble opinion. They said they had other work in front did not get looked at until Wednesday Jan. 19th. This is a very bad business approach in my humble opinion. They said they had other work in front of my, why make a 6:30am appointment then? They need to figure out a better way of scheduling their shop, maybe call a day or two prior to when they can get in the shop. People can not go days in a row for a simple recall. More
Before 2020, I couldn't recommend them enough. Very happy with our car purchase and I loved the service department, especially how they separated the maintenance and more involved services (it was like happy with our car purchase and I loved the service department, especially how they separated the maintenance and more involved services (it was like two different garages). Since the pandemic, the quality has dropped to a pretty much unbearable level. The two departments are consolidated. Simple oil changes can include waits of 60-120 minutes (I get my mustang serviced somewhere else and it takes about 20 minutes). Either no one is taking notes on longer term car issues, or they're not reading the notes, as I've had to re-explain issues time and time again, in some cases to the same people on nearly a day-to-day basis. A recall (involving the brake system) took nearly two years to complete due to "parts issues," and was only addressed after I wrote an online review complaining about it, and it was somehow escalated to a manager. When I purchased my car I was so pleased with their service department I prepaid for several years worth of service, now I'm stuck and considering eating the loss and just repaying for the same services at a different dealership. They used to have moderate (and believable) reviews online, now they're all shining despite the issues I'm mentioning and signs all over their business literally saying they are short staffed. Not sure if they hired a firm to try to lift these reviews, but I seriously wouldn't doubt it. I personally was offered a waived repair fee if I left a five star review online, which I declined. This was over an issue I notified them of serveral times when the car was still under initial warranty AND I have an extended warranty. It really makes me question the authenticity of several of these reviews I'm seeing. In my interactions, they seem intensely focused on the appearance of being a good service department (even trying to buy positive online reviews) rather than taking the simple steps to actually be one. Ultimately it was an online review that got them to address my issues, rather than the numerous face to face conversations I was having with them. Because of the issues with the service department, my next Ford purchase will be at a different dealership, unless something drastically changes. More
