Louie, the Service Advisor I worked with is great; 5 stars for him, kept me informed about what was going on with my MKX at all times. The rest of the last 3 times I've been to Apple Ford in the last m stars for him, kept me informed about what was going on with my MKX at all times. The rest of the last 3 times I've been to Apple Ford in the last month, have left a little bit to be desired. I thought they said they ran a complete diagnostic on my vehicle the first time it was in their shop, but when that cold snap hit....my car wouldn't start. This is Minnesota, cars don't always start when it's -20º outside. Got it jumped, the car started.....it went directly back to Apple Ford, found a bunch of other things that needed fixing (didn't they just run a *complete* diagnostic?). Long story even longer, 2+ weeks without my car (combined 'visits', yes, they let me use a couple lovely loaners), got the car back, got to enjoy it for all of 45 minutes, the service engine light came on. Back to Apple Ford (just a bad sensor and/or possibly plugged catalytic converters), they reset things, I've been driving it for several days now, I am once again loving my MKX. Sorry Apple Ford, I can't give you 5 stars (close, say 4½ stars?), but you really are so much easier to deal with than Autonation was, I think we kind of got off the wrong foot, due to my past experiences with Autonation. Thank you, I will be back. More
I've used this dealership several times, mostly due to location. However, I will NOT be using it again due to the failure to perform maintenance as required. Oil change, front end lube, rotate tires, S location. However, I will NOT be using it again due to the failure to perform maintenance as required. Oil change, front end lube, rotate tires, Simple, right? My vehicle is equipped with zerk fittings on the front end, requiring lubrication every 5,000 miles. Each time I specify the lube points require grease, 4 times out of five, I've checked afterwards and found either only a partial grease or no lube has not been applied at all. I talk with the shop guy and then it's done. This last time (30 December), I specified that zerk fittings were present, recieved a "got it: & a nod, from Jacob at the counter. After the work was "done", he escorted me to the cashier. Standing at the counter I asked if the lube points had been greased and he stated that they been done. I walked out to the truck, looked at the first fitting (steering crossbar) easily seen. Not so much as a drop of grease was seen, nor was the fitting even wiped clean for service. I checked the upper ball joints. Nope. nothing. The fittings visible had nothing on them. When the situation was presented to the service writer, he told me I'd not even mentioned the chassis lube to him. Several minutes of argument followed with him finally telling one of the shop crew to grease the truck. The young man who finally did the greasing came over afterwards and apologized over it. First three calls I was informed that all service advisors were busy and would call me back. Fourth call I was finally able to be told my vehicle had been completed for several days and that multiple messages had been left. The person I spoke with about this could not confirm who tried calling and/or emailing regarding this status because they were not the employee who tried. I had no missed calls, voicemail, emails, or spam emails from anyone at this dealership. I arrived and walked into the service arrival bay and even with making eye contact with multiple employees, nobody bothered to acknowledge my presence, yet alone offer to help me out. After several minutes, on service advisor asked if he could help me and when I mentioned I was here to pickup a vehicle, he pointed to the cashier in a way that made me feel I must have annoyed him by asking for help. Got my keys and signed all paperwork at the cashier office and asked if they knew where my van would be parked and she just shrugged her shoulders and said "usually they just park these out front, but feel free to walk our lot." Very unprofessional interactions from multiple employees at this dealer. Have had better experience in the past at another dealer, will likely drive further for service next time. More
This dealership treated me with respect. I cant believe people are that nasty to others. Ford nation is a respectful group of people. They have been honest with me and their service is good. I know my vehicle is in good hands. They even gave me a really big discount on one of my services and who doesn't like that. I would definitely recommend Ford nation white bear to others. Thanks for making me smile instead of crying. Keep up the good work! More
