I was having my oil changed and went in to the sales office to find a new car to lease. No one would help me, and no other customers in the show room. A couple walked in, and a salesman came out to he office to find a new car to lease. No one would help me, and no other customers in the show room. A couple walked in, and a salesman came out to help right away. Came back a week later and started to look outside at cars, no one came out to help me... a man pulled in and got out of his truck and someone came right out the door to help him. I came back one more time, asked someone in the show room for help, told him I wanted to lease a car, was a "Red Carpet Lease" and had 3 Escapes in the past, but was looking at an Edge. He told me I would have to bring in my lease information and then he could work some #'s for me. The next day, I drove to New Prague Ford, and 2 hours later, drove away with an Edge. The Service department at your location is Excellent, and I've always had my oil changed there... they are very kind, efficient, and do excellent work. More

My wife & I had a "couple" of VERY GOOD car shopping experiences at Apple Ford Of Shakopee. The first visit involved helping our son shop for a good used car. Our search led us to this de car shopping experiences at Apple Ford Of Shakopee. The first visit involved helping our son shop for a good used car. Our search led us to this dealership & a very good salesman named Richard Ross. He is a joy to work with.....professional ,friendly , informative & not all pushy. It turns out this was only his 4th month selling cars , however his natural customer relationship skills were excellent. He helped our son land on a very well maintained 2002 Ford Explorer on Saturday Aug. 6th While we were closing this deal, the finance department was backed up so my wife & I chatted with Richard, wandered around the show room floor & then started talk about the deals on the new 2012 Ford Escapes. Both my wife & I were impressed with the new vehicle & decided later that weekend that we would be interested in purchasing a new 2012 Ford Escape assuming we could find one with the options we wanted & got a good trade in for our old Ford Escape . We e-mailed Richard late on Sunday with what we were looking for. Over the next three days we went through multiple e-mail exchanges (with detailed questions & very quick & thorough responses from Richard), a couple of test drives & multiple interactions with other employees at this dealership (sales manager, finance & service). Richard even took us back to the service department & one of the service advisors answered all the many questions we had regarding tire size, tire maintenance, & tire replacement involving a Ford Escape. These interactions with the folks at Apple Ford Of Shakopee helped give us the impression that 'Customer" service & satisfaction was important to this dealership. Three days later we purchased a new 2012 Ford Escape! The only negative we could find with both of our visits was the Finance department was short staffed so closing both deals took longer than we would have hoped. Having said that Richard did call before we came in on Wed. to warn us that the Financing department was short staffed in the event we wanted o come in another night. Bottom Line we enjoyed both our sales visit experiences with this dealership & think we got a very good & fair deal both times. Richard Ross is a excellent salesman from our perspective. Richard's attention to our requirements & his prompt & thorough follow-up on any questions we tossed his way was impressive. If he did not know the answer he went to the person in the dealership that did & got back to us in a very timely manner. We can only close & say that Richard is truly a "REQUIREMENTS SATISIFIER !!! .... a term my wife came up with during one of our visits to the dealership. More

My experience with Apple Ford, far exceeded any other car purchasing experience I have ever had. Kip was very knowledgable about the vehicles on the lot, and the dealership and how it worked. However, the customer service knowledge that I experienced from Kif was what made me purchase the vehicle and what will bring me back for another in the future. I never felt pressured, or like I didn't know why I was there. He and the rest of the staff treated me with kindness and curteousness. We have always dealt with very friendly and helpful people at AV Shakopee. We have just purchased our second F150 new truck from there. Everything went smooth.
