I brought my car in with a small valve cover leak in the front of the cover due to a few stripped bolts. I had an appointment for 7:45am, came through the service doors at 7:30am. I was immediately turned away saying that my car could not be looked at due to 20 cars ahead of me. I went back home in the 2022 winter storm we just had, called Apple to make an appointment for Saturday to get my car back in and explained what just happened with my 7:45am appointment. I was asked to please come back and my car would get looked at and fixed that day in a matter of hours. I come back for the second time, I get tons of apologies and I wait in the lobby that I told my first visit that I could not do, for 3 hours. I was told at the one hour mark of waiting that I had broken off a bolt, which I told them "No, I in fact DID NOT. Your mechanic just broke it." The mechanic broke the heilcoil inside the thread of the cabin and they were blaming me for that. They told me my car would need to be taken to a different auto shop and it would cost me more money. I told the guy "No, that was not my wrong doing and I am not paying for that nor will I be intimidated by being taken advantage of because I am a woman." I was also told my valve cover was aftermarket, and I told the guy I just paid for a brand new valve cover two weeks prior to this appointment, from APPLE! Look me up in the system and it will show on record I bought this valve cover from you guys. I never heard about the "aftermarket" valve cover again. I paid the bill and left with one bolt of my valve cover not fixed, but sealed. When I got home I could smell burning oil. I open my hood and I find the back of my valve cover and the entire back of my engine covered in oil. I call Apple again and talked to the GM and told him what is happening and told him this is unacceptable the way I've been treated today and the lack of service I got. I paid $580, for more damage to my car than when I took it in. I came back a third time in the same day in a matter of hours and got a free two day rental car and left my car to get properly worked on. Two days later, my car is apparently ready. I enter my car, I have two check engine lights on. I look under my hood and my PVC HOSE is completely broken off. That was NOT BROKEN prior to bringing in my car to Apple. So, not only did they not fix my valve cover, they damaged and could not extract my bolt/helicoil, they caused a sufficiently large amount of oil leakage from my valve cover, broke my PVC hose, and did not fix my original issue with my car. They gave me back my car in even worse shape. I will never go to Apple Chevy again for any car parts or service. I am extremely disappointed but more traumatized by my experience on February 2, 2022 at Apple Chevy dealership. More

Just picked up my car today after dropping it off yesterday due to a faulty window motor. My extended warranty company was a problem!!! From excessive "we didn't get your emails with what we need." to the payment is coming. I'm summing that up!! Very unprofessional of the extended warranty company. Jeff Hir is and always will be my service rep there. He was professional, patient, courteous, kind and efficient in calling me (they got me a rental car) at home to keep me informed of what was happening regarding payment. Long story short, I picked up my car this morning and couldn't be happier with the work done on my vehicle. Sadly, after all the problems with this new warranty company, I will be canceling my contract with them and will be getting one through Apple. The approval or denial will be quicker and I won't have to probably get a rental!! Beware these scam artist warranty companies. I'd love to tell you who mine is, so you could avoid them but I won't, since they did pay everything except my deductible and $18. Don't know what that was about but good riddens! Jeff Hir is to be commended on the job he did for me. Honestly, if this man ever retires, I will most like change dealerships unless he trains a protege! Had a great experience at the Tinley Park Apple Chevrolet. Jeff Hir was great, Jeff explained everything my truck needed in detail and what time I could expect my truck to be completed from the air Chevrolet.
