I just wanted to take a minute to rate my recent experience at Antwerpen Volkswagen. As you can see I gave Antwerpen and the Sales Consultant Derrick Johnson 5 Stars. I have been buying cars for o experience at Antwerpen Volkswagen. As you can see I gave Antwerpen and the Sales Consultant Derrick Johnson 5 Stars. I have been buying cars for over 40 years and this was the smoothest process from beginning to end. More specifically I would like to give high praise to Mr. Johnson. Not only was he extremely genuine and a gentleman to boot, but also a true professional. I walked in to Antwerpen yesterday intent on leaving there with the 2018 Tiguan I seen online and thanks to Mr. Johnson it happened. His attentive to my needs, no games and being extremely polite was far superior to that of the salesman that I encountered at other local dealerships. His approach was quite relaxed and there was no pressure from him at all. After doing my homework and shopping around I knew the deal that I needed to make things work for me at Antwerpen. At no time did I have to go to the mat with Mr. Johnson to get that deal. Mr. Johnson and his manger (big shout out to Steve) found a way to make it work for me in my favor and I couldn't have asked for much more than that. Not only did I get to leave Antwerpen with an extremely nice 2018 Tiquan, but I also left with my dignity still in tact thank to my wonderful car buying experience. Thank you Mr. Johnson! Thank also go out to the Sales Manger Steve for his assistance and for staying true to his word based on my previous telephone call with him. Finally, this would not have been possible without the help of the Finance Manager (unfortunately I don't recall his name)......thank you for being very polite, professional, no pressure, explaining everything on point, and for wrapping up the deal. We went to Antwerpen with every intention of purchasing a new vehicle. All we wanted was some time to look around. Jalen Cobb approached us in the parking and was very rude and aggressive. We told him we wer new vehicle. All we wanted was some time to look around. Jalen Cobb approached us in the parking and was very rude and aggressive. We told him we were just looking and for some reason, he owouldn't accept that as an answer. He kept saying something to the effect of "if someone came to your house, wouldn't you talk to them?". It was very odd. My daughter and I kept telling him that we were just looking but he continued to be rude and argue with us. Jalen then started yelling at us and telling us "this is my lot, this is my lot". We told him we were leaving and he kept yelling at us. Jalen walked in tandem with us and he was so focused at arguing with us, he walked straight into a vehicle. He was acting very odd all because we just wanted to look around first. We went to another dealership and bought a car, which actually worked out. They had a better selection, better pricing, stable salespeople and their cars weren't filthy. Avoid Antwerpen Volkswagen at all cost!!!! More
