Very friendly but I'm very concerned re: floor matt in my Scion sliding under the control pedals, & when my male company brought it up at purchase time it was "pushed under the rug". Since then I've gone in Scion sliding under the control pedals, & when my male company brought it up at purchase time it was "pushed under the rug". Since then I've gone in 2x, been helped asap- other issues. Lg. debt 4 me; I was looking at Toyotas @ other dealerships for several thousand less and this dealer wants bigger profits. Overall, though, they've been responsive, though twice I've had "check engine" light come on- first time for gas cap seating, second time needed new thermostat as I was told. I'm still under the 30-day warranty per MD law. The sticker in the window said I was under original warranty but that was actually technically expiring within weeks, if not already expired, so that was a misadvertisement. I said OK on customer service because I had to get out of work to get the check engine light checked out- the manual Bass got me is from the 2007 and I have a 2005 so it is not neccessarily as accurate as needed! OK for workmanship since that matt does not go w/this car and is dangerous! Price OK since the new Scions sell for about 16,000 and this car had 59,000 on it and is 6 years old, after 2,000 down payment I still had to finance almost 9K. I am wondering if I'd have been smarter buying a newer. less high-performance engined car, since the gas mileage is certainly sacrificed for the 16-valve engine. This was (I was told) the only car on the lot near my original price range of 8K (what I was truly comfortable financing.) There was some discrepancy between what Sam in finance told me and what my insurance co (Nationwide) told me about how soon my insurance was to cover the car, or perhaps Sam in finance did not elaborate clearly. I felt a little pressured by Sam, like he was a little slick, and when I signed the papers to purchase, I got a chill up and down my spine which really did not leave me comfortable, to be honest. I feel better about the Manager and salesman, Bass and Steve. More
My experiance with Antwerpen Toyota was wonderful. Considering that I had awful credit and no down payment whatsoever, I was still able to leave with the car that I wanted. The gentlemen that I worked Considering that I had awful credit and no down payment whatsoever, I was still able to leave with the car that I wanted. The gentlemen that I worked with there were very plensant and helpful and did everything they could to get me a great price for my trade in.. (which in my option wasn't worth what they gave me by a long shot!) I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to buy a Toyota. More

This dealership is not honest. They raised the the base price of the vehicle over $1000 on the contract, charge twice for freight by calling it destination fee while negotiating and then added it again on price of the vehicle over $1000 on the contract, charge twice for freight by calling it destination fee while negotiating and then added it again on the sales contract under freight. They did not honor a coupon they had one line. Lied about the amount of mileage on the car. Showed one car to inspect that was the same color and not the car I purchased that was damaged. I have never meet an entire business that lied and conducted so much misguidance. Please check out another dealership and check rating on line. More
I previously bought a car from this dealership. Noone at the dealership this time around indicated that they knew this. I made an appointment to see two cars - at a particular time and date, with 18 hours the dealership this time around indicated that they knew this. I made an appointment to see two cars - at a particular time and date, with 18 hours notice. It had snowed about four days before, but the one car was covered in snow when I arrived. After waiting 20 minutes for the one car to be made available, I said to the salesperson (i.e., Amad) - way don't you have someone else get the snow of the car and we'll test drive the other car. He started telling that he was almost done (not in my opinion) to which I told him that I had waited about half an hour and let's just look at the other car. He told me to "calm down." I told him "calm down, did you just tell me to calm down?" He said "Yes, you should calm down - I'm almost done." I said "I'm out of here" and turned to leave. Shortly thereafter, I heard him say "F*** you." After confirming that he in fact said that, I told the sales manager what he said and then left. More
My experience with Antwerpen didn't start out great (I asked Samantha over the phone about the mileage a car had. She told me it was "new." Turned out, it had over 5,000 miles on it) that's why I gave t asked Samantha over the phone about the mileage a car had. She told me it was "new." Turned out, it had over 5,000 miles on it) that's why I gave the overall experience a 4 rather than a 5. Nevertheless, Ola was diligent and VERY patient in showing me several cars I was interested in, giving me prices, and negotiating. In fact, we negotiated prices for three different cars--over two separate visits--before I finally settled on a vehicle. When I told him that another dealer had offered a lower price, he went to work getting the manager to lower the price. I had a particular model, color, and options package in mind. The dealership located what I wanted and drove it 140 miles to get it to me--at no charge to me. Once the car was at the dealership, they washed it and added the few remaining touches (pin striping, door guards, etc.) before I left the lot. As I was leaving, I remembered that I wanted to keep my wheel locks. The service department was already closed and Ola was due to be off the next day. He said that he would call Danny (another sales rep) in the morning and ask him to have the shop remove the wheel locks for me. I thought he would probably forget to do it since it was his day off. BUT, when I called, I was told that my wheel locks were right on Danny's desk waiting for me. There was no pressure during the sales negotiation or financing. Oh, I got a great deal too! More
We came to this dealership to take advantage of a deal by TOYOTA: trade-in our Corolla 2007 (leased) and get a new Corolla (financed). Tim was great to work with!!! He was friendly, knowledgeable, not aggressive as some salesmen can be, and was able to provide us with a great deal on a new mini-van. We were not expecting to buy knowledgeable, not aggressive as some salesmen can be, and was able to provide us with a great deal on a new mini-van. We were not expecting to buy a new van that day, we were just shopping, but Tim was able to come through with a price that we did not want to walk away from. We went home to think about it, called Tim back to tell him we were ready to buy, and he made sure everything was ready for us so that it wouldn't take too long process the paperwork. The only reason I rated quality of work at a lower rating than everything else was because the van could have been buffed up better than it was for delivery. Other than that everything was 5 star service! More
We did our due diligence by checking out a few dealers in the area when we decided to purchase a 2011 Toyota Highlander. We decided to purchase from Antwerpen Toyota in Clarksville, MD (Tel. 410-531-5700) af the area when we decided to purchase a 2011 Toyota Highlander. We decided to purchase from Antwerpen Toyota in Clarksville, MD (Tel. 410-531-5700) after hearing what they had to offer. We discussed the price with Duane Keyser, the salesperson, and we specifically told him that we needed a DVD entertainment unit with built-in video games. Subsequently, we went to the business office to discuss financing options and finalize everything. After Bill tried to pull a fast one on us telling us that the best rate we could qualify for was 5.99%, we informed him that we had a rate of 4.79% from another dealer and we would go back there if we had to. A few seconds later, Bill discovered (some miracle) that we actually qualify for a rate of 4.79% with SunTrust Bank. At the end, we decided to take Toyota's special rate and give up the $500 rebate. When presented with paperwork, We asked Bill to make sure that the DVD system we are getting is the one with the built-in games, Bill paged a manager who came in, looked at the paperwork and confirmed that we are getting the correct one. Since the DVD entertainment system was not in the vehicle already, it had to be installed. On installation day, 4 days later, we took the vehicle back to Antwerpen for installation, only to find out that Duane had ordered the DVD system that did not have the built-in games. We left the vehicle there in hopes that they would look at the paperwork and correct the situation before installing the wrong DVD system. Please note that we had planned our vacation months in advance and we were supposed to drive from Maryland to Florida on that day. When we received the vehicle with the wrong DVD system in it, they offered us a $20 hand-help game that plugs into any TV with some games on it. Now, we have a DVD system that we did not order. Our paperwork says clearly that they owe us a DVD system with built-in games and they are trying to tell us that WE tricked them to get something for free. It sounds like we will be dealing with Antwerpen Toyota for months to come in order to get the situation rectified including Dealer complaints, complaints to Toyota Motor Company, Better Busiess Bureau and small claim court if we have to. The way we were treated by Duane after we purchased the vehicle was insulting and lacked any sense of customer service. It sounds like as soon as you buy the vehicle and you sign on the dotted line, everything changes. More
