I have been leasing Toyotas since 2008 in different locations, but this dealer is worst. Please do not believe their special offers and ads! IT'S ALL LIE! I received a poster by mail promising to forgive the excess mileage on my previously leased Camry without any additional charges if I sign a new car lease with them. I did sign the lease but one month later I received a bill for excess mileage, which is in the collections now. I tried to talk to sales personal and manager but they said they never issued the poster and called me a liar. This could happen to you. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! More

The Toyota Rav4 was not at the top of my list, but after having really bad dealer experiences at many other dealerships I decided to give Toyota a chance. The staff at Antwerpen and my salesperson Bernard were extremely friendly. They worked with me on the price and trade-in and we were able to come to a great deal. Bernard was not pushy at all, which was a breath of fresh air considering my previous dealership experiences. I was very satisfied with my car buying experience. More

My sales rep Bernard was so helpful (even though he was not a used car sales person) he gave so much information on the hybrids and all the Prius stock at the dealership. I ended up choosing the used Prius that I had come to see and Bernard was there every step of the way. He was not pushy with the purchase but very attentive and informative. I love the car and would for sure reccomend Antwerpen Toyota and especially Bernard as a sales rep. This was the best car buying experience and I credit most of this to Bernard. More

No Mention of Charges When I Made Appointment The Airbag Warning Lamp for Passenger Airbag came on in 2009. I made an appointment to have it looked at on 9/14/2011. I was asked to agree to a diagn The Airbag Warning Lamp for Passenger Airbag came on in 2009. I made an appointment to have it looked at on 9/14/2011. I was asked to agree to a diagnostic fee which I did. They could not find out how to fix it and I had to leave without the problem fixed after paying the diagnostic fee of $60. Since then I have never been back because I felt that I should not have been charged a fee when they could not find the issue for me. Recently I received a Warranty Enhancement Notification - ZTX which discusses what appears to be my problem. The letter clearly states the following: "Any Toyota Dealership will determine if the condition is covered by this Warranty Enhancement at no charge to you. If the airbag warning lamp is illuminated to some other condition not described in this owner letter, additional diagnostics and repairs could be your responsibility" So I called Antwerpen on 6/2/2014 and talked to a lady about the problem. She asked me to bring it in and mentioned it would take about 2-3 hours to look at. I decided to take a 7:30am appointment and wait. There was no mention of a diagnostic charge. Today I arrived at 7:25am and was met with Jay Tauber who immediately mentioned he had wanted to call me but did not have a number. He then explained that I would have to agree to a diagnostic charge. The diagnostic charge would be waived only if the issue was determined to be a result of the issue described in the warranty enhancement. For any other issue or repair I would be responsible for diagnostics and additional charges. I mentioned that I had already paid for diagnostics once and did not feel like paying for it again because I would have to rely on their word that the issue was unrelated. I wanted then to honor the spirit of the letter that they should determine free of charge if my issue is what is described in the Toyota letter. I am not interested in additional diagnostics or repairs. Jay mentioned that I would have to agree to the diagnostic charge first because, "the mechanic is not going to work for free." I mentioned that I was only interested in diagnostics to determine if my problem is related to the warranty letter and not any additional diagnostics or repairs. Jay mentioned he could not do free diagnostics for me. At this point I chose to leave the dealership. More

We did our research first, arriving at Antwerpen with a list of options we wanted and did not want in our new car, and a price we were looking to pay. Robert patiently reviewed our list with us, showed us several cars on the dealership lot and took us for a test drive. These were nice cars, but included some features we did not want. Robert did some online searching and found a Camry Hybrid in Virginia that more closely matched our list. We bought the Camry at a good price, which Robert picked up and drove back to the dealership the next day. The parts department did a professional job installing the aftermarket options we wanted (body side moulding, all weather mats.) The car was clean and in perfect condition when we picked it up. James did a great job walking us through the interior features on the Camry, and even linked our cell phones to the car via Bluetooth. Outstanding customer service - highly recommended. More

Our recommendation is not based just on price, although that was competitive... We also had one of cars, that had some minor body damage that was not noticed until days after the all the paperwork was done. They took the car, repaired it, and brought it back, all free of charge. They have always answered our e-mails, or phone calls, and had prompt follow up to any of our multitude of questions. May 7th, 2014. More
