In a matter of 3 weeks, nothing. Did not receive any numbers of car price upfront (although checked online before walk-in). After initial visit, was turned down b/c I needed a bigger down payment. I obtained the requested down payment amount within a week. Returned a 2nd time with a guarantee to get me in a car that would be a step down from my first pick. Was given a round-about price for monthly payments for cars within my range. Once selected, showed me my options. Was told that it would be "hard" to get me into this car. Was promised a call the following day with regard to financing approval. Did not receive a call next day. I placed 3 calls and did not receive an answer until 2 days later. Received a message that sales rep had not heard from bank at all. At that point, still had no answer for me. Two days later, called 3 times before getting a false "approval" over the phone. Sales rep informed me of how he had been working "all day" to make a deal. Once I got there in person, they somehow made the mistake of requesting a COMPLETELY different car from what I test drove. Also, keeping in mind that I had already been guaranteed in a car of my choice (step down from first pick) with a $3K down payment. However, on the THIRD visit to dealer, after being told I was APPROVED for this car, they ran my credit a third time...this time with the "correct stock number" of the car. All to tell me that I could not be approved. As I was doing a trade in, had to pay towing fees to tow my car back home, after being promised a new car. There is much more that I failed to mention here. But this was THE WORST car buying, or lack thereof, experience I have ever had. Ever! More
Diana Svitchar was the most incredible sales associate I have ever met. She insisted on selling me a Toyota Yaris 2008 that they just received. It was about 2g more than I was willing to pay. I also test drove the car I wanted to buy and realize why Diana was insisting on the Yaris. The other car was, shall we say, being sold under market value for a reason which became apparent after it ran for a few minutes. I don't know if this was just super intuition on her part or she had driven/intimate knowledge of the vehicles they were selling. Once I began negotiating, the 1799 of "dealer fees" were taken off by the manager "because they were having a good year." Wonderful buy at the "internet" price. I got new tires, new brakes all for free because they wanted to "JACK SAYS YES!" More
I was very excited to be purchasing my first and Diana was very helpful. Also, before arriving at the dealership Diana informed me that my first option was still being worked on but had a car relatively a was very helpful. The process of buying the car went smoothly with no problems and when I drove it off the dealership, I like the way the car felt and the ride was very smooth and the car is great on gas, which is a plus because my college is two hours away and didn't want a car that would be a gas guzzler. Lastly, even though I didn't buy my first option because it was still being worked on, I like this car better. More
I had an excellent experience at Antwerpen Discount Center. From the moment I walked onto the lot on Wednesday evening to investigate their inventory, there was no pressure, they were attentive to what Center. They asked me what I was looking for: type of car, color, price range, monthly payments. They made very effort to follow-up on what they said they would do from the Sale Reprsentative, Diana to Jerome, Sales Manager; and then Eric, their awesome Finance Manager to top off the experience. By Saturday morning, the car that Jerome, (Sales Mgr) told me would arrive was there for me to TEST drive. I drove off the lot with a great used car, lower monthly payment, a few less problems in my life and what I believe were three new friends from that wonderful experience. Thank you Antwerpen to Diana, Jerome (Sales Manager) and Eric (Finance Mgr) for an OUTSTANDING experience with my new purchase. More
I can't say enough about Mr. Madoree's customer service. He really treated my fiance & I like people & not just another number. Mr. Ferris was an excellent salesman - i wish the vehicle we had been looking for was here so that we could have purchased it from him. After looking at the website and finding what seemed to be the perfect we had been looking for was here so that we could have purchased it from him. We looked over another vehicle but it wasn't quite what we were looking for but it would have been nice to have Mr. Ferris as our advocate so that we could have gotten our dream car at a price that fit into our budget. I visited yahoo auto and saw a 2011 Toyota Camry for sale that was in the price range I was looking for. I came in prepared to be overly bombarded by an annoying sales person. When I arrived I got to immediately test drive this car and another Camry that, "I", picked that was also listed on the site. I fell in love with this vehicle during my test drive and really didn't even want to see the other car. Being the bargain shopper I am I decided to give it a spin anyway just to ease my mind and make sure I was getting the better car. My decision was final I wanted and needed the first car. My only issue was that I had to negotiate a cheaper price because this car was a few grand above what cash I had available and I knew I wouldn't qualify for financing with my poor credit score. After negotiating and still not being able to get the car price down to my available cash reserve I had given up all hope, then I saw that they did in house financing and decided to give Diana Svitchar a call and explain my situation. Diana worked tirelessly with the finance department secured financing for me in 2 days!! I got my dream car right in time to make the happiest birthday ever!! The finance department manager was very nice and helped me to understand why my score was so low and how to fix it. I was even personally introduced to the sales manager who was also so very friendly. I had never had a better car buying experience with this amount of personalization and such great customer service! Thanks Diana! More
