I brought my car in, for an appointment, on the Monday before Christmas at 8:30 a.m. The outside mirror on the driver's side was not heating, and the interior lights on the driver's side were not working before Christmas at 8:30 a.m. The outside mirror on the driver's side was not heating, and the interior lights on the driver's side were not working. My service advisor Mr. Hussain called me to ask if wanted to get some additional work (new tires, balancing,alignment, break fluid, and resurfacing the rotors. I agreed to get that work done. He called me back to let me know that a part had to be ordered for the mirror, and that the car would not be ready until Tuesday, Christmas Eve.. He called me at about noon on Tuesday to let me know that the car was ready. I had to pick up a family member at the airport at 2:00 p.m., so I told him that I would pick up the car at 1:00 p.m., since it was on my way. He informed me that the shop was closing at 2:00. I got there a little after 1:00 & went to the cashier to pay my bill. I noticed that the discount that I had brought in had not been included in the bill. She took me to Mr. Hassain & after conferring with his boss, attended to it. When I got into the car, I checked the lights. They were working. Then checked the mirror, that was working fine, but not heating. The mirror was broken, and would only allow me to see 1/2 of the passing lane on the driver's side. Since your shop was about to close, and I doubted if a technician could make the repair in time for me to get to the airport, I left. At about 10:00 on Christmas day, I sent Mr. Hussain a text message asking for an appointment to make the repair. When I didn't hear from Mr. Hussain until about 10:00 a.m., I drove to the dealership. Mr. Hussain saw me immediately, and told me that he would have the technician who worked on the mirror, make the correction. After waiting for more than an hour Mr. Hussain informed me that I parts had to be ordered, and that he would contact me when they arrived. I came in to have 2 items repaired. After 3 trips to Antwerpen, spending almost $2,000, and a week later, one of the 2 repairs that I initially needed have not been completed. More

Antwerpen gave me the best price on the ride I asked about. The dealership offered more incentives than most. Our salesman Tyrone was great. Very personable. Had the car ready to test drive when we got there. Angel in finance was very patient; even after the sale when I was confused by some of the information in the paperwork. She re-explained things to me that went by quickly in the sale and made me feel at ease. I look forward to doing business with Antwerpen in the future. More
Forget all the service perks they dangle in front of you when selling you a car. You will NEVER talk to the service department and yes, they will hang up on you. I’m writing to share my recent experience with Antwerpen Hyundai in Catonsville, Nov 7, where I encountered several unprofessional practices that ultimately led to a breach of our agreement. In September, I visited Antwerpen Hyundai looking to purchase a specific vehicle. Although the car wasn’t in stock, the dealership assured me they could get it and committed to honoring our negotiated terms. I went through the full purchase process, including a credit check, price negotiation, and signing an agreement outlining the price, payments, and terms—even though the vehicle was not physically present. I trusted I’d be notified once the car arrived and that the original terms would be upheld. However, I received no follow-up. When I checked the dealership’s website in November, I found the vehicle was now available. I returned to Antwerpen with my agreement, expecting to complete the purchase at the terms we had agreed on. Unfortunately, management (Maurice) informed me they would no longer honor the agreement. They provided various excuses and implied that my actions somehow showed a lack of commitment to the purchase. After some discussion, they agreed to honor the original terms only if I paid additional fees for a vehicle with the same specifications, though it lacked one optional feature. I reluctantly agreed, expecting the main terms of our original agreement to stay the same. Yet I kept encountering discrepancies, including mismatched prices and VIN numbers, along with unexpected additional fees. Finally, when I moved to the financing stage, the price, monthly payments, and interest rate had changed yet again. This experience has left me feeling that management was trying to subtly inflate the cost beyond our initial agreement. Their approach involved evasive explanations and, at times, efforts to undermine my understanding of the financial terms and the car buying process. While I’m disappointed with management’s conduct (Maurice). I do want to recognize my salesperson, Christopher Davis,for his professionalism and support. He was a positive presence during an otherwise frustrating experience. Overall, I’m deeply dissatisfied with the lack of transparency and professionalism displayed by the management at Antwerpen Hyundai in Catonsville, and I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this location without significant improvements in their practices. The dealership kept hanging up on me finally got them around 0150 pm finally spoke to a service representative told them I was across the street and decided to wait sat down in the lobby chair only to sit on a crack pipe in the chair. Get my car to see the check engine light on. Asked about the trouble shoot code rep tells me that I should have said something got to auto zone got the code for the thermostat which is part of the coolant system to have checked. Heard a buzz from the cabin motor so guess where I am at right now for them to tell me oh the mechanics left at 5 o clock. More
