I was interested in an Infiniti G37x that they had available on their lot. I went in last Friday (8/21) and was greeted by Cliff. He was very pleasant to talk with. After the test drive, I was still interested in the car but they had not done an inspection, and the warranty included in the price of the vehicle was not extensive enough for me to feel comfortable purchasing it without one. Cliff was very gracious and allowed me to have my preferred mechanic pick up and inspect the car on Monday (8/24). The inspection found a few issues and some potential issues. The immediate retail cost for me to service the vehicle "needs" was estimated at $870; with a follow on cost for new tires depending on selection, but certainly no less than $400. With this in mind we negotiated to have Antera service only the "needs" and I would pay their full asking price (which would leave me to purchase tires at some point in the future). Regrettably the manager didn't agree with these terms, and did not offer a counter, so we parted on good terms but without a deal. Today (8/28), I was contacted by Cliff (very cordially) and was told the manager had agreed to fix one of the two "needs" at the full asking price. Unfortunately I had purchased a very similar car from another dealership two days ago (8/26). If not, I would have considered this counter... ... would seem to me a missed opportunity given the delay in proposing a counter; otherwise all other elements to a car buying process were fine. More

A lot of great talent at Antera . They Always Take care of there customers , ALWAYS , that's hard to find anywhere, I have seen them go beyond what is expected of any dealer. They seem to really care about your needs, give them a chance you wont be disappointed. More

I have been taken care of in every aspect possible . They Have certified techs and have been very helpful in answering all my questions and accommodating all my needs for a vehicle , I can not say good enough about Antera Auto Sales and there full team of dedicated employees . If you want to be taken care of and need an Honest and knowledgeable dealer for your transportation needs go see the great group of guys at Antera , they treat you better than family . Worst used car buying experience of my life Our family purchased a Subaru Outback for my 17 year old son from Antera Auto sales on September 12, 2016. My son found it on the Internet and I made the 6 hour drive from northern Wyoming to check it out. I purchased this vehicle “as is” after discussing the vehicle’s condition with dealership owner Harold. He said he was a “certified mechanic” and had looked over this vehicle. He told me the vehicle was “mechanically sound.” He also mentioned another mechanic at Antera had checked it out and the vehicle was “mechanically sound.” Three weeks later, on October 5, 2016 the engine blew as my son made his 24-mile trek to school. We took the vehicle to our mechanic and he had some interesting observations. He told us the engine had been very recently replaced and areas of the engine had been siliconed to temporarily stop oil leaks. One of these silicone plugs had given out leaving a trail of motor oil along the highway. I called Antera for help. I was told that since I had negotiated the price of the vehicle, the dealership warranty did not apply. This was the first I had heard that. I did not purchase what I believed to be an additional warranty at the time, and none was offered. Regretfully, I signed papers that stated vehicle purchased “as is” and did not want to purchase additional warranty. My fault completely and looking back, I realize I should have asked more questions. Although Antera was under no legal obligation to help with this situation, I had hoped they would at least stand behind their sale, do the morally right thing and help with the cost of replacing the engine. I requested any financial help they could offer and after delays and no offers to help, suggested they meet us half way and split the cost of a $3800.00 repair bill. Early on, on the rare occasions I was able to speak with Harold, he told me he felt bad, had to talk with the other owner to see what they could do and would call me back. Harold suggested they may be able to help partially. He never did and we have received no help. I continually tried to contact him at his own phone and through leaving many messages with Cliff at Antera for him to return my calls. Just getting Harold to return calls was initially difficult and later became impossible. If you decide to deal at Antera, you may get lucky and end up with a good vehicle. You may also end up with a temporarily silicone patched wreck like we did. We put a lot of miles on our vehicles. If I had purchased the warranty and drove occasionally, perhaps their silicone patch job would have outlasted the warranty. Perhaps not. Antera’s selling us a vehicle with a faulty engine, lack of backing up a car they sold our family and refusing to help at all speaks volumes about this dealership. Antera does NOT stand behind their sales and has no honesty or integrity. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Antera. Look elsewhere for a reputable dealership. More
