STEALERSHIP ALERT! take your money elsewhere! I went to the andy mohr plainfield dealership to buy a used 2006 grand marquis. The customer service was hardly average to say the best but that wasn' I went to the andy mohr plainfield dealership to buy a used 2006 grand marquis. The customer service was hardly average to say the best but that wasn't even the worst part. During the test drive I discovered that the transmission slipped in 4th gear. When we went into the office to try and come to a deal I mentioned this and they responded by dropping the price 100 dollars (off 3300 which is top dollar for that car) to "copensate" for the 1700 dollars it would cost me to get a remanufactured transmission. Here comes the best part though, after they declined my offer on the car they said that "someone with less knowledge on the subject wouldn't even notice the difference and they would drive it for a little bit, then when it fails they will just bring it back and pay us to fix it." I hope this goes to show why I would call this place a stealership and not a dealership. More
