Wasted a lot of time and tried to lowball my trade AFTER giving me a quote through email. I ended up buying a vehicle but the whole process could’ve taken 1/3 of the time. Over email they offered me $30 giving me a quote through email. I ended up buying a vehicle but the whole process could’ve taken 1/3 of the time. Over email they offered me $30,000, then at the dealer only offered me $24,000. An hour later finally settled at $29,000. Then posted it for sale the next day for $39,000. I get there’s markup, but there was no need to negotiate for an hour just so they could offer me less than they already had via email. More
