From the moment she greeted me at the dealership door she was well prepared and greeted me with her beautiful smile. She had done her homework and was up to speed on my vehicle purchase and my questions and was well prepared and greeted me with her beautiful smile. We contacted the dealership about a vehicle we were interested in and obtained additional information. We then scheduled a visit for the following day. We communicated that we would be driving from eig interested in and obtained additional information. We then scheduled a visit for the following day. We communicated that we would be driving from eight hours away and received multiple confirmations that the vehicle was still available both prior and throughout our drive to the dealership. Once we arrived at our scheduled 1:30 PM meeting, we were informed that not only was the vehicle currently being test driven for the entire business day, but that a deposit had already been placed on it the previous day. We didn’t realize that the person we had been originally communicating with was not a sales person and had absolutely no knowledge of the vehicle or its availability, she was a scheduler. When we arrived at the dealership, we were passed to a salesperson who also had no knowledge of where the vehicle was or its availability for purchase. This salesperson had to ultimately speak to the sales manager to find out that the vehicle was essentially already sold 24 hours prior. The sales manager neither acknowledged our presence nor offered an apology. Furthermore, the pricing of the vehicle swung in increments of thousands of dollars over the course of the 108 days it was listed with no explanation from anyone as to why this was occurring (in fact, the listed price increased by $5,000 from the time we left from Kansas City to arriving in Indianapolis). We shouldn't have to take a screenshot of vehicle price when you contact the dealership, but the salesman was unaware of the previous price and it was very unclear from communications if they would honor the original price at which it was listed when we began first communication. We spent 16 hours on the road to purchase a vehicle that wasn’t even available. The manager sat 20 feet away from us ignoring our presence while our salesman tried to first get to the bottom of where the vehicle was, to only have the manager shake his head "no" and tell the salesman to get out of his office. The dysfunction and mismanagement at this dealership is completely unacceptable. More

I never write reviews, but my experience with Andy Mohr CDJR was so terrible that I need to make an exception. If I can stop one person from buying a car with them, then I see this review as a success. Thi CDJR was so terrible that I need to make an exception. If I can stop one person from buying a car with them, then I see this review as a success. This is going to be a long rant, but I truly hope it helps someone. My wife and I were looking for a used car for under $9-10k, knowing that we wouldn't find anything even close to perfect. We had both lost our cars in the space of a week. She lost her car in a hit-and-run accident, and I lost mine due to transmission failure. We shopped around at some used car lots but ran into shady salesmen who didn't want us to test drive the cars, refused to pull service history, etc. We went to Andy Mohr thinking that a dealership would be more reputable even if they charged a little more. Andy Mohr had a 2009 Ford Escape listed at $5,900 with only 100k miles on it, which sounded like an amazing deal. The salesman Steve Pumphrey let me take it for a drive around the dealership, and he seemed nice enough, but after looking under the car, I was worried about the amount of rust under the vehicle. I know very little about cars, and I repeatedly asked Steve if the rust would be an issue, and he repeatedly said it wouldn't present an issue anytime soon. He said “this car is an absolute steal” and “these cars don't last long here.” I decided to buy the car, which ended up being closer to $7200 with all the buying fees included and also because they didn't have a key for me, and the clicker on the one they gave me doesn't even work. When I drove the car off, it started making a loud rattling sound in the back, and the car shook a lot when I went over bumps. I didn't notice this when I took it for a test drive earlier, maybe because the road was smoother around the dealership? I took it to my local mechanic for a checkup and he called me the next day asking me where the &^*% I got the car. He said that there is nothing holding up the shocks in the rear and that the car is rusted to ^&%$. He said it is unsafe to drive on the highway and he said that I need to take it back to the dealership and ask for my money back. I knew that I signed as-is documents when I bought the car, so I didn't think this would work. Instead, I went to body repair shops around Indy to see if any of them could repair the car. Almost every single one told me that the car is too far gone and that I should sell it for scrap. The only place that was even willing to try was Indy Body Werks in Speedway, but they said it would be thousands of dollars and they couldn't guarantee a safe fix. They were shocked that Andy Mohr would sell a car in such bad shape, and wrote me a letter to take to the dealership saying the car is unsafe to drive. I drove in the unsafe car to the dealership and walked up to Steve Pumphrey, and before I could finish listing the things that were wrong, he said “I'm not a mechanic” and went to get a manager named Brian. Brian listened to my concerns and told me that he would call some of the mechanics I had gone to and if the car is unsafe to drive, I could trade it in for another car in the lot. He called me saying that they could offer me $2500 for the car and trade me into another one, after they had just sold me the car for almost triple that amount. He also said in his voicemail that “any service shop will be more than happy to repair that for you” when I already told him that wasn't the case and he didn't call a single one of them. I was furious and since they don't return your phone calls, I had to drive in again to speak with Brian, and he said that he didn't get any of my voicemails (which I doubt). He DID NOT call the mechanics he told me he would. He only spoke to the mechanic who already passed the car. He did a bunch of verbal gymnastics to dodge the fact that Andy Mohr sold me an unsafe car, and offered to buy back the car at an insultingly low amount. He kept saying that Andy Mohr put in 2,200 to make the car sellable, when it was obvious that t More

If I could rate the experience a zero, I would. The experience was horrible and I will tell everyone not to buy a vehicle from them. We were told he that the damaged bumper would be repaced with a signed agreement saying that. Then after purchase they kept stalling on the promised work and they did not replace it and would not honor the agreement. After 3 weeks the vehicle was still not delivered. Of course the financing was finalized and there was no going back and stopping the deal. Also their prices change on the vehicles throughout the day so the price you see in the morning may be different by the afternoon. So be ready to pay more for the vehicle than on their website. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!! More
