I took my (new) jeep in because my brakes squealed every time I backed out of my garage. They told me "yes nine out of ten new cars do that" and did nothing about it. Also as a courtesy they wash your car time I backed out of my garage. They told me "yes nine out of ten new cars do that" and did nothing about it. Also as a courtesy they wash your car for you, it looked worse than when I dropped it off and there was mud on my floor mat. I guess my neighbors will just have to hear my NEW car squeal every day. I won't buy another vehicle from a dealership that does not stand behind their product. LMM More
I am extremely pleased with my new car buying experience at Champion. I had the pleasure of working with Cross as my salesperson. Cross helped make the buying process very comfortable and stress-free. He wa at Champion. I had the pleasure of working with Cross as my salesperson. Cross helped make the buying process very comfortable and stress-free. He was outstanding at explaining the vehicle features, the buying process, and working to get me a great deal. Gene in financing was also excellent. He took the time to explain everything step-by-step. I found the whole dealership to be friendly, inviting, and professional. When the time comes, I will definitely buy from them again. More
The transmission failed on our 2010 Jeep Patriot while still under warranty. We purchased it from a dealership owned by the same company as this one, so came here expecting excellent service. When it fir still under warranty. We purchased it from a dealership owned by the same company as this one, so came here expecting excellent service. When it first started making noise, they recommended a transmission flush, which we had our mechanic do. This dealership then blamed our mechanic for causing the failure by using the wrong fluid (which wasn't true, and the failure had happened prior to the flush). There was no apology for anything – not for our relatively new Jeep having a failed transmission, not for falsely suggesting we’d voided our warranty and possibly costing us thousands of dollars, not for not knowing that CVT fluid comes in red (a shocking lack of awareness for a Jeep service department), and not for making us jump through hoops to convince him we weren’t lying to him. My Patriot sat at Champion for 13 days. No apology was offered for the mechanical failure of the vehicle, for the misdiagnosis of a fluid type error (which would have cost me thousands of dollars had I not questioned it), for suggesting that the brand name of fluid would void our warranty, or that the actual time from warranty approval to finishing the job was much longer than we had been told. This is not to mention the rude, uncooperative, and disrespectful treatment we received from the Service Manager. Only a service writer apologized for the delay in getting a response from Chrysler. How does an individual with no customer service skill, or knowledge of basic automotive fluids, obtain the title of dealership Service Manager? Why did no one ever say, “We’re sorry the vehicle didn’t live up to your expectations. We’ll do everything we can to make it right”? Why were we accused of lying, and the burden of proof laid on us at every step? We did nothing wrong; the transmission had simply failed, and the message to us through this entire process was that Champion Group, and Chrysler, would do anything possible to avoid having to cover the failure under warranty. Run away as fast as you can. Deceptive practices! There are several other dealerships in the area that can get you the same car and deal without all of the deception. I would not recommend this dealership to buy a car. Here are my dealings with Anthony and Andy. Anthony (General Sales Manager)- Andy brought him over after my first test drive. He said something to the are my dealings with Anthony and Andy. Anthony (General Sales Manager)- Andy brought him over after my first test drive. He said something to the effect that "I have 7 vehicles at home, including a 911 Porsche Carrere and 2 Jaguars, and I like driving my Wrangler the best. It is over 10 years old and I have had people offer me $15,000 for it.” While running finance numbers for me on my second visit he said, “Don’t worry, I’m not going to charge you anything for this.” Made me feel that he didn’t like going over 250miles to bring a car into the dealership and then made it sound like he was doing me a favor when he expanded that search to 300miles. Andy (Salesman)- Was not very knowledgeable about the vehicle. I asked him questions (that I knew the answer to) and he fumbled around on the door sticker to answer them or just gave wrong answers. Specific examples include: 1) did not include the full size spare when estimating what it would cost to replace the 17in tires, 2) only included the radio, tire pressure indicator, new soft top and new steering wheel when he described the differences between the 2012 and 2013, 3) only said I could get half doors that were “tube doors”. On the second visit after I had test drove, it took very long to get paper work back to me. Each set of papers he got to me took like 20 minutes. He valued my trade in at one half the value of the lowest Kelley Blue Book price. Really pressured me to pay them $500 that day to bring the vehicle from another dealership to me. Said something to the effect “Do you see any confetti on the floor? That means we haven’t sold a car today. I really want to make that happen.” I called the next morning and left a message that I was going to shop around and for them not to contact me anymore. They have not honored this simple request. I have gotten calls from both Andy and Owen Walker (General Sales Manager). Champion, please stop calling me. I do not want to do business that has people like this working there. More

Any auto parts, or shop in the area would have completed it for free. At a minimum they could have informed me of the charge. To top it off, they held on to my car over the weekend, because they couldn't reach me. #lies More
Champion is a good dealership. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. My salesman, Ray, was a little slow to get warmed up, but soon after we started taking he was excited for my me as we looked and finished the deal. I got the Jeep the next day in a snow storm, they could not have been better to work with in those conditions. The sales manager, Anthony, kept me posted throughout the day. The final paperwork with Matthew was actually enjoyable with the small talk we had while signing everything. More
I'm a past customer of this dealer. I purchased a Dodge Caravan several years ago and was happy with the van and the service for that vehicle. So, I went back when in the market for a used car. I found Caravan several years ago and was happy with the van and the service for that vehicle. So, I went back when in the market for a used car. I found one we liked but the price was just too high. The salesman (Kevin) is an extremely likeable guy. Family man and works hard. But I was just a couple weeks into my search and the price on the car I wanted was priced high compared to others I had found. I got a call from Kevin about a week after I had stopped by the dealership and he informed me that the price on the car had dropped from 17,400 to 16,500. The last thing he asked of me was to please stop back by before I purchased anywhere else and bring my best deal and he was sure he could make a deal that would make us happy. I like Kevin; so I committed to him I would. So after another week of searching around I found another car; same make, model, color, etc. There were differences!!! I was looking at a 2010, Champion's car was a 2011. But the mileage was very similar and thus the manufactures warranty still remained. That was important to me. Oh and their car was a 6 cycl. were the one I was looking at was a 4 cyc. So to be fair there were two significant differences. But their car had a cloth interior and the one I was looking at had all Leather. So I felt one could have washed out one of the differences based on value. Other than that, the cars looked virually identical. I liked the idea of the 4 cycl because it would be cheaper on gas and to insure it. Come to find out 6 cycl models are very rare in this model. So back go to Champion I go as promised. Took my paper work and said give me your best deal on the car you have and if good enough (knowing it would be higher than the 15,200 I was quoted from the other dealer. I sat there over 40 minutes waiting. Only to find out that the car I was interested in had gone back up in price to 17,400. So the price I was quoted over the phone was not a price at all. I did not expect them to beat the price I had. I expected them to put they're best deal on the table and see if we could come together. What a waste of time! Kevin is a nice guy and I would recommend him to others but sales managers can be insulting. And to chase someone down in the parking lot and say OK 16,500 is bad. At that point I just wanted to get out of there. Oh yeah, I bought the car from the other dealer for 15,200. the very next day. You know the sales manager boasted to me that he went $1800 OVER his Christmas budget. Who knows what his original budget was?? I know I could not even begin to afford half of his OVER budget $1800 for my family. I needed a car. Bad taste Rick! You must make a lot of money on used cars. More
