Thank you for your feedback. I apologize your first visit with us with your 2012 SRX didn't go well. Our store does charge a $168 diagnostic charge to compensate our technician's time if the work is declined. The fee is waived if you perform the needed repairs. Bridget says this was explained to you at check in and I do see you signed your work order agreeing to the fee. On your report card your filters are marked yellow and the Hub is marked red. We use a green, yellow, red system to clearly identify the severity of the health of the vehicle. Red indicates it is something that needs to be addressed today, yellow indicates an item is just now showing signs of use or wear (or in the case of a filter it is just showing signs of getting dirty) and green indicates an item is in great shape. The hub bearing has a broken reluctor ring and that is why it was quoted to replace the hub bearing assembly. It is not an additional item that is broken; it is a part on the hub. I will still be contacting the Better Business Bureau and posting on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. I drove 26 miles because someone told me you have great service. Had I been told up front, on the phone, that a rack charge would apply when the wheels are already off, I would have gone to GM Murfreesboro. Yes, i signed in...sure didnt think anything would cost $1000 to repair since I've taken such good care of my car. I was told the filters were needed. I was also never told the ring was broken. Bridgette was nice but not efficient. She should have explained why the hub was bad. The paperwork says right and left, so i had to call to get clarrification. How could the filters be on a yellow when they were changed at my oil change last week? I am disgusted how this Cadillac dealership runs things. Ive been to dealerships in Florida, Texas, and Indiana and never experienced anything like this. Your prices are outrageous. Your service is less than thorough! I speak to people 3-5 times a week at churches. They ask about my car on most occasions because of the story behind it. I will let everyone know not to go to Andrews. I'm sure my dad is rolling over in his grave. The part is $250-$300. Then over $500 to install? That's highway robbery!
