After having your car serviced I’d expect it to be washed. Not the case in two service visits. I think that’s a reasonable thing to request. At my previous Toyota dealer it was always done. washed. Nice auto body repair; disorganized personnel ANDREW Auto body repair looks nice with one exception - the paint match is poor. The manager said that this is because of the baking process after they use a water-based paint. I would think that they could solve that issue in 2020, but apparently not. The auto body rep and receptionist were remarkably disorganized. I had to call every week for about 3 weeks to remind them that I was waiting for an appointment time to get my car repaired (the car was drivable). Finally, the receptionist called me to let me know that the repairs were completed on my car and I could pick it up---but I hadn't even dropped my car off yet. When I pointed that out, she said, "oh - you can drop your car off then." I was told that the repair would take 5-7 days, 2 weeks at most, since it was being repaired over a holiday. 3 1/2 weeks later I still had heard nothing from the auto body rep (no contact at all since I dropped it off). Finally I called them to see what was going on and the rep (Chuck) said "Oh, let me see if that's done....yep it was completed." Apparently it sat there completed for a number of days with no one calling me to let me know. I took my car to the Andrew Auto Body for the body work to make sure it was done right with original Toyota parts. The repair seems good aside from the color match issue, but the organization of the Body shop is poor. More
My avvy It seems like it was repaired almost better than before. Although I have taken into consideration that it was on the holiday weekend. I don't want to get ahead of myself because I have only driven it for a couple of hours. I will test it my throuroughly tomorrow. You see I need my vehicle for work and taking my wife to and from the doctor. You see she has Cancer and it is terminal mind you we do have two vehicles the other one is smaller a 2001 Passat I can drive it but I prefer my own because I am a very big man. My Avalanche seems to be running better than ever,nice and smooth when stopped at a red light I had to turn down the radio to make sure it was still running. I am so far very impressed. The only complaint I have is that I was told it would be $1440 plus tax but when I picked it up it was $1580 I paid it I didn't quibble about the extra . But there is something funny going on with my door locks since being returned to me they lock when I'm driving down the street this has never happened before. Other than that you guys did a great job,I guess I will continue to give you my business. Thank you Michael Simmons 12/31/19 More
