Mr Kleim the salesperson and Mr Dossa the parts manager made buying my new Honda CRV at Anderson Honda a very enjoyable experience. Mr Kleim took the time to help me find exactly the type of vehicle I was made buying my new Honda CRV at Anderson Honda a very enjoyable experience. Mr Kleim took the time to help me find exactly the type of vehicle I was looking for and explain to me the operation of all the vehicle's control buttons. Mr Dossa, the parts manager, showed how the dealership operates in supplying the spare parts for vehicle repairs and the the area of the repair bays. This was all very interesting. More
I worked with Jason Barton over a period of about a week. Jason arranged for me to take three test drives during that time, explaining advantages and disadvantages based on what I was looking for. Talked t Jason arranged for me to take three test drives during that time, explaining advantages and disadvantages based on what I was looking for. Talked to Paul and Jason several times and wasn't pressured to buy at that time. I made a final decision after driving a 2013 Accord. I needed to bring the car in to have options added since car came from another dealer. Scott was prompt to wait on me when I came in and arranged for the shuttle to take me to work and bring me back. I had given up on Honda after terrible customer service at Heritage Honda Towson. My Daughter bought a Honda Fit at Anderson. She got a great deal and appreciated the service and talked me into taking my at Heritage Honda Towson. My Daughter bought a Honda Fit at Anderson. She got a great deal and appreciated the service and talked me into taking my Odyssey in for a repair that could not be done at my usual shop. They fixed it without a problem. When it became time to have the timing belt and water pump changed I called to make an appointment and mentioned a $100.00 off coupon I had seen on the web page. The representative I spoke with informed me that they were running an even better sale and quoted me a price that was far better than any I had been given by anyone else. I made the appointment and they asked that I come in earlier so that they could finish the job that day. I was meet at the door by two service guys who took my van did the paper work and had me out the door in under five minutes. They told me they would need about 5 hours to finish the work. About 4 1/2 hours later they called to tell me it was ready. When I arrived to pick it up it was ready, washed and for the price they had quoted. I was so pleased by their service that not only am I re-thinking Honda but also about having all my service done by Anderson. This was such an improvement over the experience I had at Heritage. More
Went in for a routine oil change last weekend and was pleased with the service I received at Anderson Honda. I just recently moved to the Baltimore metro area, and this was my first time at Anderson Hond pleased with the service I received at Anderson Honda. I just recently moved to the Baltimore metro area, and this was my first time at Anderson Honda (AH). I always read reviews of the place I will be taking my business to, and found some not-so-good ones for them. I still decided to give it a shot and am glad to say I wasn't disappointed after my visit. I live within a couple miles of another Honda dealership but found even worse reviews for it, and so my decision to choose AH became somewhat easier even though I had to drive about 20 miles to get there. The service was great, and quick. Got in and out without an appointment on a weekend in about 45 minutes. And they gave my car a good rinse from the outside. They have a Wi-Fi lounge with a couple TVs, a cafe where you can buy snacks/breakfast, and a coffee machine. While waiting in the lounge, I overheard a customer speaking with a sales person. Apparently, the guy had just bought his new Honda from them sometime back, and had just come in for the first oil change service. From the looks of it, it seemed like the sale had gone well and he was happy to get the service done at Anderson's which was reassuring for me. FYI: the website has a $5 OFF coupon for oil changes as well as a few other service coupons. I will definitely be going there the next time and recommend this place. More
We bought a new Pilot from this dealer last Septemeber and had an excellent buying experience. We were given a good trade in appraisal (the second go around) and an excellent price on the Pilot. The dea and had an excellent buying experience. We were given a good trade in appraisal (the second go around) and an excellent price on the Pilot. The dealership ordered the car from an out of state dealership (since there were not many 2011 EXs left on the lots in September of 2011) and had the car ready to go promptly. Since buying the vehicle and putting 24,000 miles on it, we have had the vehicle in for service several times. The service departament has provided quality service with free carwashes after each service. Overall, we have had an excellent experience at Anderson. More
I had initially interacted with Bill via email and knew I wanted to purchase a Honda CR-V AWD EX and was considering the EX-L as I had already done my "research". I had asked Bill to email me a quote for th wanted to purchase a Honda CR-V AWD EX and was considering the EX-L as I had already done my "research". I had asked Bill to email me a quote for the vehicle and never received one. I already knew the dealership did not have an AWD on site, but they could get one. The dealership was convenient for me, so I stopped by to meet Bill and test drive the CR-V (they had a 4WD). I noticed sale signs on the Accords which reflected significant savings. I inquired and Bill relayed that "Honda was simply pushing these vehicles." He should have been upfront and relayed that the 2013 Accords were being redesigned and coming to the showrooms soon. He knew I was ready to purchase a vehicle within a week or two. We drove the CR-V and the Accord, but my issue was the lack of trunk room on the Accord. He did not know the size of the trunk for the Accord as he claimed it was larger than 16 cu. ft. He began to really pressure me to buy the Accord, so much that I was uncomfortable. Then he introduced me to the dealership manager and said that I was going to return in the morning to purchase the Accord and I relayed to the manager that it was only a possibility. Bill tried to pressure me to stay and complete some initial paperwork to "hold" the vehicle. I did not as I had to pick up my son from camp. I emailed Bill the following morning to relay that I would not be returning. The dealership manager subsequently called me. I returned his call and relayed that I really wanted the CR-V and that I never received a quote. The manager was very nice, so pleasant in fact, that I was willing to deal with them. He relayed that he would have Bill send me the quote. I never heard from anyone. Subsequently I bought a CR-V AWD EX-L the following week from another dealership. More
I had read on numerous websites the bad reviews for this dealership but I obviously didn't listen. My husband had been dealing with Jerry Herbert on the price of a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX. I felt the price dealership but I obviously didn't listen. My husband had been dealing with Jerry Herbert on the price of a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX. I felt the price we were quoted was fair and we wanted to trade in two vehicles. The trade in price offered for our first car seemed fair so I decided to stop after work so I could have our second trade in looked at. My husband told Jerry I would be up after work and that I was 7 months pregnant with twins so I wouldn't be able to stay long just to get the car looked at. On my way to the dealership Jerry sent a text to my husband saying he had an appointment coming in and wanted to know if I was still coming up. I was put off by this since he knew I was coming. When I got there Jerry met me with a handshake and led me to his desk and they friendliness ended there. He grilled me about what I expected from him and if this trade in would decide if we bought from them. I told him I don't know I was only there to get the car looked at and my husband and I would have to look over everything and talk it over. He became mad and started to grill me more. Finally they took my keys and looked at my car. When he came back to his desk he brought three other men with him who I can only guess were there to intimidate me. Jerry kept pressuring me about buying the car but the presence of his three associates was making me very uncomfortable. Jerry tried to push his financing on me and I told him I already had financing to which he became very pushy wanting to know why I didn't want his and wanted details about what financing I had. The whole time the men behind him were laughing. I finally told him I had to talk to my husband so he jumped up and said "I'll give him a call now". I grabbed my keys and quickly left the dealership. I was never so uncomfortable in all my life when all I wanted to do was have my car appraised. When I talked to my husband he was none to happy about my treatment and called Jerry up. When he asked Jerry why he had three other men standing over me he became defensive and told my husband "maybe I shouldn't be dealing with you". My husband asked to talk to the manager and Jerry quickly hung up. Obviously this dealership doesn't want to sell any of its inventory if its sales associates treat customers this way. More
The sales person is not friendly and try to Keep changing the price again and again and make the sale confusing and worthless. My wife and I purchased a used Honda for our son who is in college and we looked for a quality used Honda from a dealership and the idea was they would stand behind the car. The car had to be brought back in college and we looked for a quality used Honda from a dealership and the idea was they would stand behind the car. The car had to be brought back to the dealership 2-3 times over the first few weeks for overheating, same issue each time. As the issues continued my son brought the car in again 4 days after the 30 day warrantee expired and all of a sudden the gas was mixing with the oil and the repair is now several thousand dollars. They did offer him a discount but it was still several thousand for a kid in college. As the issues were always the same, this dealership is either not qualified to do repairs as they didn't notice the problem the first few times it was brought in or they are dishonest and just ignored the issue and put a bandaid on it until the warrantee expired. It was a very disappointing experience, I hope all read this before considering them More
