Instead of going out of town to look at similar cars, I suggested we first stop at Anderson Ford for a look see and potential test drive. Upon our arrival we were greeted by David who was more than capable of describing the car. He not only pointed out the features and capabilities but, and I should say "AND" it's drawbacks. No "smoke and mirrors" just hard facts. We additionally discussed possible avenues of finance. Given all the information received, some may say information overload, we decided to take it for a test drive. At the conclusion of the test drive we were very interested in purchasing. Now here is where we shifted gears and literally cruised to the finish or purchase as it were. We initially had some reservation but this is when Steve, the Sales Mgr, stepped in with the" warm and fuzzy". LOL. Not only did he address our only real concern but explained it like like we were talking with a family member or close friend! Negotiation was quick and friendly. No long drawn out affairs that some dealers utilize to wear you down until you are exhausted. Paperwork was a breeze and while we finished "dotting the I's and crossing the T's, Steve had the car detailed and ready to go! What more can you ask for? Later discovered that the vehicle is not new, but a service loaner vehicle with 1400 miles on it. When confronted, the sales manager became very rude and tried to force me to purchase it as is. More

Terrible experience with this dealership. I've bought several new and used cars before. I bought a 2011 Ford F-150 from Anderson Ford Mazda. This particular ve experience with this dealership. I've bought several new and used cars before. I bought a 2011 Ford F-150 from Anderson Ford Mazda. This particular vehicle is lemon 🍋. I understand that purchasing a used vehicle "as is" is huge risk for a buyer. I really expect a major dealership would at least sale reputable vehicles for repeat customers. My particular vehicle steering $2000, cab leaking water, and water pump leaking $500. With hassle and many hours sitting at the dealership with my complaints they agreed to fix the steering and the roof leak with $200 co pay. My vehicle stayed with them 1 week. When I got my vehicle back the cab was still leaking. So I called and took it back. This time my vehicle stayed there 2 weeks. My keys were lost and set of beats wireless headphones gone. The dealership replaced my keys and I had to purchase another set of headphones. The dealership advised me that my claim would given to their insurance and I would have to wait to be reimbursed for them. Keep in mind that I've only had this vehicle less than a month. Over the weekend about a week after I got my vehicle back I went out to start my vehicle and it wouldn't start and noticed a liquid leaking from under my vehicle. So I called the dealership again to voice my complaint again with the general manager. He advised me to come back and maybe he has something on the lot I could trade for. So Monday I went to the dealership. I spoke with the general manager. I told him I felt like parking the vehicle in parking lot and leaving it there. He said maybe he had a vehicle there that I may like. I told him that I was looking for a black ford pickup similar to one I just purchased from him. He said he has one that was just in. This truck was a Ford F-150 Lariet 3 years older and almost 12000 more miles than my 2011 XLT. I test drove the vehicle and was impressed with the vehicle. Went back in to speak with the general manager. Then he advised me that he would give me 13500 for my vehicle on trade. Wanted 17900 for the 08 model lariet. My mouth dropped I'm outraged my 2011 had been there at their service center for almost a month and I just gave them 15500. I'm seriously insulted with this dealership and will never purchase another vehicle used or new. Nor will I recommend anyone else to go there. The two salesmen were ok. Members at the service department were awesome. More
