Dear Mr. Zender, As you can well imagine, I was mortified when I read your message and quite concerned. I did my research and spoke with all parties involved. As you can see, we rate very high on dealer rater and have very satisfied customers. It is uncommon to have someone this disgruntled. We pride ourself on our customer satisfaction and go to great lengths to preserve that on a daily basis. I am terribly sorry you felt that we insulted you with the value we established for your trade in. We do this for a living and know the value of a vehicle. We generally use the auction in San Antonio as a guide to establish this value as it is such a volitile market when it comes to used vehicles. There are many varying factors that you have to analyze in determining these values, such as fuel economy, market conditions, mileage on the vehicle, body damage, condition of vehicle, I could go on and on. I also wanted to point out that we were selling the Altima and Pathfinder to you at well under our cost. We were offering you the Altima at $5,000.00 off MSRP and the Pathfinder at $6,300.00 off MSRP. So if we're quoting wholesale prices on the new vehicle we're not going to be giving retail prices on your trade. It's strictly wholesale for wholesale. You weren't paying MSRP for the new vehicles. Let me reassure you that all my managers have been in this business for many years. David Roth, my General Sales Manager has been in the business for over 35 years and owned several dealerships for a number of years. He is not a fool and has wonderful customer satisfaction skills and contrary to your statements, he does care. I'm sorry but I will not condone customers mistreating my people. I understand that you accused us of being cheats, liars and thieves. We've been in the business for over 39 years and as a very reputable dealer to accept those accusations. We have thousands of customers who are repeat customers, referrals, etc., and wouldn't go to any other dealership because they love their experience here. Again, I'm sorry your experience did not go the way you expected it to and that you didn't get enough value for your trade. It appears that was what started the whole problem.
