I love Dave Richards!!! He made buying a car the best experience ever. He listened to me and what I was looking for. He heard the price range I needed to be in. He picked out the perfect car for me. My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a new car and while this is absolutely one of my least favorite things to do, Jim has made it a very pleasant experience. We were treated with respect and dignity upon our arrival and also during our inquiries about certain vehicles. Jim Prete was a gracious salesperson who was friendly, accommodating and knowledgable. He was not the cliche arrogant, vulturous, cocky, shady and untrustworthy salesmen we have seen, experienced, and dealt with in the past. We have been to another well known Nissan dealer in the area in 2008 but once Anchor opened in Smithfield it was not only convenient but the employees in both sales and service are friendly and accommodati area in 2008 but once Anchor opened in Smithfield it was not only convenient but the employees in both sales and service are friendly and accommodating. They know they have smart shoppers who want to spend their $ wisely, and they are willing to take the time to answer questions or find additional information in response to customer requests. We were particularly happy with our experience since we have a lowered income this year and are challenged to find ways to reduce our expenses. My husband selected his Nissan Rogue after he and I both met with David Richards and Stephen (last name eludes me) to test drive a Juke, the new 2014 Rogue. and the 2013 Rogue. Although the 2013 did not have the bells and whistles of the 2011 lease, we left feeling the price was more of what we could afford, especially since Anchor Nissan offered attractive incentives to return the leased car before expiration. We spent quite a few days making up our minds and returning to see what else was available--inventory moves quickly here! I decided to sell my Prius and lease a Nissan Versa, approximately 35-38 mpg on the highway, and reduce car expenses by another $250 per month. We really appreciated the personable approach of both Dave Richards and Stephen, the assistant manager. Why would we not return except to say hello to these guys, and thank them for their time and concern. They heard what we needed, and they didn't try to haggle or oversell or disrespect our concerns. Keep up the great work--and we know your service folks are skilled and patient--hope we don't have to see them too much except for the oil changes that you also included in the incentive packages! ...
