Every time I go to the dealership for work on my Hyundia it’s a 2-3 hours waiting in the lounge every time even for an oil change. Other people come in and go as right now I’ve been here for 2 hrs and stil it’s a 2-3 hours waiting in the lounge every time even for an oil change. Broken down in Amarillo Our Hyundai Sante Fe left us stranded on vacation after passing through Amarillo. Awesome Unscheduled Service!! While driving to the Phoenix area, our 2016 Sonata Limited had a warning light on regarding battery recharging. We were essentially between Oklahoma C While driving to the Phoenix area, our 2016 Sonata Limited had a warning light on regarding battery recharging. We were essentially between Oklahoma City and Amarillo. We chose to contact Amarillo Hyundai and spoke to Joe their service advisor. When we described the issue, he indicated it wasn't "break down on the road" serious, yet indicated we should have it looked at as soon as possible. He knew we were traveling so he indicated he would get our car looked at right away when we arrived. Joe greeted us promptly when we arrived and our car was being diagnosed within minutes of arrival. Joe & team got our vehicle repaired quickly and we appreciated the extra effort to get our repair completed right, allowing us to get back on our route quickly. Joe was knowledgeable, personable, and we felt like he wanted to get the specific issue taken care of and have us trust that we made the right choice going to Amarillo Hyundai, in the care of Joe!! I purchased a 2008 kia sorento that had cigarette burns all over the car, the radio was making fuzzy noise and after I had signed papers the vehicle was brought to me after they had cleaned it up...When I all over the car, the radio was making fuzzy noise and after I had signed papers the vehicle was brought to me after they had cleaned it up...When I looked at the vehicle originally it was very dirty so I couldn't see the paint....When the car was washed, there were scratches all over the car....The worst I have ever seen.....Looked like it was driven through the forest....They agreed to have someone come in and buff out the scratches.....When I went to pick up my car, there were still a lot of scratches on the car that they didn't fix...The salesperson told me they did the best they could but I didn't believe this......After I took the car, I noticed the outside mirrors wouldn't adjust properly and that the one mirror was loose....I went back to the dealership and they told me to take car to KIA dealership to get these things fixed by warranty...Well, none of these were covered by warranty because the previous owner had hit something with the mirror and wasn't covered, the radio was not the manufacturers radio and warranty wouldn't cover it and the KIA dealer wanted to charge me $500 to fix these items....They also told me that the brakes appear to be going out but this not covered by warranty....Just this week, the gear shift just fell apart and I almost couldn't get it back together to put the car in park.......I am very dissatisfied and feel that I really got a raw deal from this dealership.... We were on the way to Amarillo, and our Tuscon barely made it. We pulled in to the dealership for service. We have never had such a great experience with a service department. Oscar was exceptional, informanitive, friendly and went out of his way to help get our car fixed, within a 24 hr period, so we could get back on the road. We are from Missouri, and traveling. I would recommend them to anyone. We are even considering buying from them for our next vehicle even though we are 600 miles away. Thanks again Oscar. More
