I am a reader of "Car & Driver" and "Road & Track", plus others (Edmond's, etc.) for over 40 years. I have held an SCCA Racing License. I have owned an MG-A, Jaguar XKE 12 liter, Pors "Road & Track", plus others (Edmond's, etc.) for over 40 years. I have held an SCCA Racing License. I have owned an MG-A, Jaguar XKE 12 liter, Porsche 944, Toyota Supra, a Volvo P1800 and a Z350. I think I am qualified to answer this questionnaire. What this means is that when I was ready for a new car my research and heart led me to a Hyundai Genesis Coupe. I was fortunate to have Joe Miller at Hyundai of Amarillo be my "guide" and assistant. He spent untold hours working with the holders of the leases on my trade-in (Infinity 35 Coupe) and my wife's Mazda CX-7. There was no arm-twisting, no excuses (just results) and our new coupe and Santa Fe were placed in our hands at what we wanted to pay. I can only imagine what Joe had to go through to succeed. We are both pleased with the vehicles, but without Mr. Miller none of this would have happened. I will be more that happy to recommend Hyundai of Amarillo and Joe Miller to anyone. This was my first experience with this dealership and there wasn't any part of the experience that results in anything other than great. Mr. Miller was friendly and appeared to be very knowledgeable and there wasn't any part of the experience that results in anything other than great. I purchased a 2008 kia sorento that had cigarette burns all over the car, the radio was making fuzzy noise and after I had signed papers the vehicle was brought to me after they had cleaned it up...When I all over the car, the radio was making fuzzy noise and after I had signed papers the vehicle was brought to me after they had cleaned it up...When I looked at the vehicle originally it was very dirty so I couldn't see the paint....When the car was washed, there were scratches all over the car....The worst I have ever seen.....Looked like it was driven through the forest....They agreed to have someone come in and buff out the scratches.....When I went to pick up my car, there were still a lot of scratches on the car that they didn't fix...The salesperson told me they did the best they could but I didn't believe this......After I took the car, I noticed the outside mirrors wouldn't adjust properly and that the one mirror was loose....I went back to the dealership and they told me to take car to KIA dealership to get these things fixed by warranty...Well, none of these were covered by warranty because the previous owner had hit something with the mirror and wasn't covered, the radio was not the manufacturers radio and warranty wouldn't cover it and the KIA dealer wanted to charge me $500 to fix these items....They also told me that the brakes appear to be going out but this not covered by warranty....Just this week, the gear shift just fell apart and I almost couldn't get it back together to put the car in park.......I am very dissatisfied and feel that I really got a raw deal from this dealership.... We were on the way to Amarillo, and our Tuscon barely made it. We pulled in to the dealership for service. We have never had such a great experience with a service department. Oscar was exceptional, info made it. We pulled in to the dealership for service. We have never had such a great experience with a service department. Oscar was exceptional, informanitive, friendly and went out of his way to help get our car fixed, within a 24 hr period, so we could get back on the road. We are from Missouri, and traveling. I would recommend them to anyone. We are even considering buying from them for our next vehicle even though we are 600 miles away. Thanks again Oscar. More

The customer service by Joe Miller and the hyundia team was awesome. Joe did a fantastic job with showing me the details of the Sonata as well as explaining the options of purchasing it. Joe was an amazing help in my search for a new car. I told him what I was looking for and he immediately told me about a new Sonata that had just arrived at the dealership. When I arrived, he didn't giv told him what I was looking for and he immediately told me about a new Sonata that had just arrived at the dealership. When I arrived, he didn't give me the typical "car salesman" speech; he just let me test drive it and let the car do all the selling. Even though I wasn't planning on making any decisions right away, was so pleased with the car, and the service, that I bought it that day! I had my children with me and Joe let them watch T.V. while we handled the paperwork. I made Joe an offer on the car and there was very little haggling before we came up with a very reasonable price. I didn't have my trade-in vehicle with me, but Joe gave me a good price on it (sight unseen) and scheduled it to be picked up the next day. Overall, I am EXTREMELY pleased with my experience with Amarillo Hyundai and especially with Joe. Thanks Joe! More
