My experience with Tri-State Ford/Hyuindai was very good. The gentlemen that i dealt with at the dealership were great. They were very nice and very helpful. After a hailstorm hit our local area both of our cars were totaled. I had not planned to be in the market for a new vehicle so we had not set aside a budget. We received an amount from our insurance co were totaled. I had not planned to be in the market for a new vehicle so we had not set aside a budget. We received an amount from our insurance company and then had to pull the remainder out of savings. I dealt with 8 different lots in Amarillo and was so relieved to find Tristate Ford. Our dealer, Michael Rue, was honest, clear spoken, full of integrity, and efficient. I can't begin to explain how different our experience was in comparison to the rest of the dealerships. This is how business should be done but the way our country is now- it's hard to find people who operate with integrity. So God Bless this lot and the people who work on it! More

Upon arriving at the Tri State Ford Motor lot I was immediately met by Shane Massengale, one of their salesmen. He was courteous, friendly, and expressed great effort in helping me find the type of ve immediately met by Shane Massengale, one of their salesmen. He was courteous, friendly, and expressed great effort in helping me find the type of vehicle I was looking for. I needed an older Ford F150 that was in good shape and $6,000.00 or less. Shane directed me to a trade-in Ford that they had just recently acquired. It was a 2006, blue, supercrew cab, short-bed F150 that had been well taken care of. Shane got in with me and let me take it for a drive around to get a feel of it. I liked it. They originally wanted $8,500.00 for it. My only real concern with the truck and that price was that it had a lot of miles on it, 167,000 to be exact. However, Shane supported me in putting in a bid of $6,000.00 “out the door” price. They accepted it! I am very pleased with the truck and have been driving for about a week now. Later, Shane even called me up to check on me and see if I was still pleased with my purchase of the F150. I let him know that I was. I would recommend anyone to Tri State Ford, and I definitely give Shane Massengale a high rating. Justin Baker More

Micheal Rue was very friendly and knowledgeable. A pleasure to work with, and stayed late into the night to work out a deal. When we returned to the dealership to finish the deal, we were told tha pleasure to work with, and stayed late into the night to work out a deal. When we returned to the dealership to finish the deal, we were told that a different salesman was going to get our sale because I 'built' my vehicle online a few weeks earlier. Not fair if you ask me. When we went to the finance dept. to handle all the paperwork, we were treated as if we were children. Chris, from the finance dept, forced us to fill out a paper that supposedly would send our sales tax to our county of residence. My fiance, who works at our county's tax office, asked why we could not simply register the vehicle in our county, to which the reply was "we just cant, this is how it works" She told him that she gets paperwork from this dealership on a regular basis, to which the reply was, "I don't know, this is how it works" The paper he had us fill out was not even the correct paper, and forcing us to register in that county is illegal. The next day, she called and threatened to file a dealer complaint through the state, and the paperwork to our vehicle was in the correct county soon after. This was my first experience buying a car, so I don't have much in terms of comparison The reason I gave a 3 in friendliness, our initial salesman, Micheal Rue was wonderful, our second salesman and the sales manager were decently friendly. The experience was ruined in the finance office. The 3 in price- We agreed on a price very quickly and easily, I do know that similar vehicles are sometimes going for slightly less than msrp, and I paid slightly over, however I did not press the issue to much, because I've seen how quickly vehicles move off this lot.
