I needed an inexpensive 'chore' truck and found one I really liked on Cars.com, so contacted Alton Blakely with the "Check Availability" link. I had a call from Brad Gover within five minutes. He described the vehicle honestly, faults and all. Since it wasn't an extremely high-priced vehicle, I didn't expect perfect and he was completely honest about both the good and not so good things with the vehicle. Nevertheless, the dealership had already taken on repairing a couple of issues with the vehicle, something I was not expecting at all. This was not something I asked them to do; they did it of their own accord. They seemed to be sincerely concerned that they not sell me a bad vehicle. After the work was done, Brad turned me over to Steven Haste to finish up the deal. We were quickly able to come to terms on a price, and I made arrangements to see the vehicle and close the sale. When I arrived, they had the truck cleaned and ready to test drive. The vehicle was EXACTLY as they described it. We closed quickly - no games and no hassle. Both Brad and Steven were friendly and courteous. I couldn't be happier I might add that I live 250 miles from Alton Blakley. Doing a car deal 'sight unseen' can be a risky proposition. But Brad and Steven did everything to ease my concerns, and I'm a happy buyer. I would definitely buy from these folks again! More

The service department is friendly and will do their best to please you. The finance department will answer all your questions to make sure you fully understand the entire agreement. We bought this car close to closing time and everyone from Mary, to the folks that prep the car before you go stayed until my whole deal was finished. When you walk in the door you feel at home. Vehicle buying experience made easy Like most of us, I thought going to a dealership was going to be like going to a dentist to have a tooth pulled...without novocane. Quite the opposit Like most of us, I thought going to a dealership was going to be like going to a dentist to have a tooth pulled...without novocane. Quite the opposite to my amazement. But let me start at the beginning of this day. I saw a truck for sale on-line and called to see if it was still there. Everyone was so polite on the phone and so helpful, and yes the truck was still there. It's a used truck so I asked about any rust, since the one I have is loaded with it. Caleb Price actually went out to the truck and looked it over very well, and found one or two small spots. He called me back and let me know where and how small they were. I asked whom I should ask for when I got there so he told me Mary Duncan and that she would take care of me and, has 16 years of experience. Did I mention that I live just under 100 miles away from Alton Blakley Ford, I mention this because it was well worth the drive. As I drove onto the lot the first thing I saw was this huge silver building, nice and modern, and come to find out it's new. I walked in, looked around and everyone was dressed sharped, well groomed, and had warm and inviting smiles. I ask the young lady at the desk for Mary and she paged her. Within a few minutes She showed up, with a firm handshake and a big smile. We went to her office and discussed both the details of the truck, but also of personal subjects. She has a picture of her beautiful daughter and grand daughter by her desk which prompted the talk of family and similar subjects. Mary just had a way of making me feel relaxed and stress free. We finally went out to the truck and looked it over, and a test drive. Spoiler alert...I bought the truck. Anyway, after the test drive we went back to her office to talk some more about it. I decided on buying, I made previous arrangements for financing, and all that was left was paperwork. It took less time than I thought it would. I got a very good price for my trade-in, more than I thought would, and an excellent price on the one I bought. Let me tell you this, EVERYONE there was so polite, professional, knowledgeable and willing to help in everyway that it just made the experience so much more enjoyable. Frankly, I hate to write reviews. But with all that happened yesterday and the people that I met, I have to let others know that Alton Blakley is the place to go for vehicles...I will be going there from now on. More
