I will NEVER recommend anyone to this car dealership or to trust Jake, Eric, and Taylor. In my opinion, they are crooked and liars! Don't but a vehicle from them and never trust them. I had just gotten out to trust Jake, Eric, and Taylor. In my opinion, they are crooked and liars! Don't but a vehicle from them and never trust them. I had just gotten out of the hospital from having major surgery. We decided to ride around looking at cars in car lots. These 3 people got us to come inside and pushed and pushed with lie after lie until we signed papers. I was in a lot of pain and taking Oxycodone. I wanted to go home. They had our car keys and kept pushing. They knew I was in pain, taking the pain pills, and wanted to go home.They brought water to me twice to take the Oxycodone and saw me take them. I had trouble paying attention and thinking straight, which I stated several times. Eric kept saying it wouldn't be much longer and we could go. We ended up signing papers and he said we could change our minds, even about canceling the insurance warranty if we chose. First thing the next morning we called Eric, Jake, and Taylor to cancel the sale and the insurance and they said we could not. Then Eric said we had to keep the insurance from them one month. We did and they still are not letting us cancel it. We are also seniors. We have received no sales papers from them and it has been over a month. Eric said he would find us a comparable vehicle we like at a lower payment. This has also been a lie! They also lied about the condition of the used car they stuck us with. We believe this is a case of elder abuse and deceit. For your own good, STAY AWAY FROM ALPHORN FORD AND LINCOLN IN MONROE, WI. Jake, Eric, and Taylor are liars and crooked! More
Looking back on the entire experience everything in context I believe I will never buy a vehicle online again Mostly because you can't see the vehicle in person you're not sure if you're being lied to context I believe I will never buy a vehicle online again Mostly because you can't see the vehicle in person you're not sure if you're being lied to or not and the many other variables that are not accounted for with the online purchase of a vehicle there were many things I was unhappy about some things I was very happy about but there were also things that were out of the dealership's hands or not their fault One of the 1st major issues that I have with them is that right away in the pictures of the vehicle I noticed a picture of The check engine light but I was told that it was only on because the key was in the Ignition but the vehicle was not it's not running 1st thing I saw when I started my new car up when it was delivered was the check engine light so I was lied to now that check engine light could be one of a million things from very simple and cheap easy fix like a gas cap not being on good good to very bad damage I will have to find out what it is The 2nd major issue is that while I understand I am a online customer buying a vehicle online or over the phone from a different state and buying a very cheap used vehicle that's not going to make the dealership very much money there were several times I was told after waiting A day or more for responses to get paperwork or such things done that the reason I was waiting all that time was because they kept having walk in customers so in other words if what they consider a better customer came in I was put on the back burner until they were done with other customers I don't think that's OK if they were working on my bill of sale they should have finished with it that day before working on others What I really appreciate from this dealership that keeps me from rating them with a lower star count is that more than one person at the top of the food chain of that dealership reached out to me more than once and tried their best to do everything in their power to make sure that I was going to be happy with my experience with this dealership, that made a world of difference especially with the larger issues that the dealership had no control over with the transport company which was my other big issue the transport company they used took from Friday morning till Tuesday afternoon to transport my vehicle a mere 500 miles and during that time It was extremely difficult to get updates or information about what was going on and when they finally did deliver the vehicle after I had confirmed the correct delivery address multiple times they still deliver to the wrong address the transfer company had already been paid but try to get an extra $600 out of me upon delivery More
