I went there on a rainy day after calling ahead. The rather large owner sitting in the trailer was calling all the shots while I conversed with the sales guy. I am pretty street smart so I was asking a rather large owner sitting in the trailer was calling all the shots while I conversed with the sales guy. I am pretty street smart so I was asking a few questions about the car that I had come to see. Turns out the car had been in an accident. As soon as I found that out - only when I saw the carfax report - their attitude changed completely because they realized that I wasn't going to buy into their xx. I left their trailer thinking about all the trusting folks they must have swindled by hiding the car's history. I don't trust these guys, period. More
Found Allston Motorsports while searching online. From my first phone call to my ongoing ownership of this vehicle (purchased there 2 months ago) I could not be happier. The buying experience was great and t first phone call to my ongoing ownership of this vehicle (purchased there 2 months ago) I could not be happier. The buying experience was great and the vehicle has exceeded all my expectations. The staff was courteous, answered all my questions and met every commitment they made (on time) through out the purchase cycle. Though a small lot, they had several models that fit my price range and interest. I found one I liked, checked it over, drove and ran a Car Fax. After deciding to buy, we negotiated a fair price in a matter of minutes. Contrary to the foolish exaggerations of a previous poster, 90% of their cars on the lot do not have bad Car Faxes. As a pre-buy check, I ran about a dozen of the VIN's they had on the lot. And only a couple had an issue and both were minor at that. I hate it when posters make broad statements to emphasize their positions. The facts speak for themselves. The smaller dealerships can be great but it's up to "you" to do your homework and know what you want before you walk in and start shopping. If you think the big new dealers are much more "solid" and "honest", for fun just try and figure the amount of profit monthly they need to make to keep those showrooms. Then guess where this profit comes from. In my own field I'm a Sales Manager so I'm extremely cautious when making any large personal purchase as I know most of the ways that deals can be "crafted" to the sellers benefit. I was careful every step of the way watching for the big "gotcha", but right to the end it never happened. With my latest purchase now I can't say enough good things regarding my experience with Allston Motorsports. With any of my next family vehicle purchases I intend to shop there first More
Very Rude People, Car they have are truly luxury for less, but have a story behind them which they won't tell you. I ran carfaxs on number of cars that are at his lot, 90% of these vech are in major col less, but have a story behind them which they won't tell you. I ran carfaxs on number of cars that are at his lot, 90% of these vech are in major collisions, which they claim are one owner vechiles and never been hit. Bottom Line, Buyer Beware Expensive Cars at cheap price, and the savings does not add up! More
