We recently re-located to Boston from Europe for an 18 month period and when looking for a car, quickly became dis-illusioned with the multitude of deceptive pricing strategies dealers employ. From that point to this we found the honesty, openess and willingness to assist us in every way possible demonstrated by Tony (including sorting out registration of the car) fantastic. I would recommend Tony and Allston Autos without any hesitation and would certainly return for our next purchase. To echo a comment made by a previous reviewer; we really feel we have a friend in Tony in all matters relating to cars. When my husband purchased his truck new from a local dealership, he did not get the kind of service that Jim gave me. I truly feel like I have friends in Boston now. They make you part of the family. I got the Volvo XC I have wanted at a deal. You can't go wrong with these guys. Call them to see if they can find you your dream car. If it is out there they can do it. Purchased a very expensive and rate car from Jim/Allston. We were both skeptical at first, but things worked out great. Had car checked remotely, and then flew a 1000 miles to pick it up. Car was as promised, except for some very minor paint blemishes/repairs, that it would have been nice to know about. The car was otherwise in excellent condition. Jim seemed very genuine and honest. Picked me up at the airport, and seemed intend on making it a smooth transaction. I don't think the dealership was used to the internet/ebay type transactions where EVERYTHING gets disclosed. However the deal was absolutely great, and I can highly recommend Jim and Allston. More
