I was nervous purchasing a used vehicle with 76k miles but was reassured by the Lifetime Engine Warranty and service records provided. Sadly just after three months, my sky-slider roof began malfunctioning and when the service team assessed it, we learned the part was on backorder. This was Aug. 2018, then in Sept. we learned the part was further delayed until Jan. 2019. The technicians were able to close and seal my slider without any cost to me. Fast forward to Jan., we learn the part mfg. went out of business and there is no replacement part but Jeep is looking for a new mfg. In April the news was not good, a new mfg. still hadn't been found. Throughout this entire process, Jim K. kept in touch with me with updates and after ongoing searching by the Service Team, they located the needed part (entire frame) and installed it a couple weeks ago, again at no labor cost to me. Long story short, although it was a bit disappointing to have this happen, I can't express enough my thanks to Jim K. and his amazing team. Everyone I dealth with was pleasant and were always willing to go the extra mile. It helped lessen the disappointment. Thanks again! More

Then they tried to overcharge me for work that was done and not covered by the warranty. I received a quote for the work over the phone and then lied to about that quote as they attempted to rip me off. On 4/25/19 I took me vehicle in because there was a pinging sound coming from under the hood while idling. Also, to have checked out, a whirring noise coming form the right rear wheel, have a windshield wiper blade replaced and to have issues with shifting looked at. I received a call the next day and was told that the shifting problem was because the transmission needed computer updates. The cost $278.00. I authorized the updates. I was told that that the pinging noise was because a collar was broken around the exhaust pipe that is between the manifold and catalytic converter. I was told that the 2' section of flex pipe needed to be replaced, $750.00 parts & labor. I declined. Was told the whirring noise was because of uneven wear on the rear tires. (tires are less than 2 yrs. old with hardly any wear) I picked the vehicle up and noticed that it still shifted hard. The next morning it started to rain and when I turned my wipers on, noticed that it had not been replaced, though I was charged for it. Also, the retired courier that picked me up from my office to take me to the dealership dropped the F bomb within a minute of me getting into his vehicle and proceeded to use every profanity, sexual innuendo and overall trash language during the ride to the dealership. He was very unprofessional. This week, I took my Jeep into Bonneville and Son. I was told that no updates had been performed and that the pinging noise that I heard was from a mount on the exhaust heat shield. Parts and labor - $150.00. This is the most incompetent and corrupt service department that I've ever dealt with. I wouldn't take my vehicle there again if my life depended on it. All I can say is BEWARE!! More

We have bought two cars for my fiance from them and they treat us like we dont exist. Our current 2015 Cherokee, which is under warranty until 100k, is shutting off while driving down the road and they not only lied to me saying the powertrain warranty is up at 60k, they asked me to drop the car off same day, pay for a rental, AMD they wont be working on it for 3 days at least!! I called contemporary and the service guy stayed on the phone for 20 minutes with me, was very knowledgeable I helping me figure out the issue and a plan of action, and we will be bringing it to them this week. Way to lose a customer Allen Mello! More

Never in my life have I experienced any business passing along its processing fees to the customer. F.Y.I. Allen Mello it's a cost of doing business. I'm sure as a business, you are most likely getting a business write off for this expense as well. To then pass it off to the customer is absurd. This is a perfect example of cutting off your nose to spite your face. I'll be taking my business to another dealer that appreciates my business next time. More

They do the state inspection and tell me the speaker is fine, the tech fixed it........... by changing all the presets to its minimum setting. Wrong answer I knew it was blown and they were to replace it. They said they would have to order the part. I said you were suppose to when I made the appointment. To top it off i have went back for the 3rd time and still haven’t cleaned it and now it takes 3 hrs to replace a front speaker. The service people have no clue and technicians apparently don’t either. A 30 min job for 3 hrs. Definitely uncalled for and will never recommend this place to anyone. Wish I could rate it a 0 because I would. More
Worse place! Don’t go here! Ok so all of their good reviews are because they offer you a better extended warrenty if you write one. I never write bad reviews but I’ve never ha Ok so all of their good reviews are because they offer you a better extended warrenty if you write one. I never write bad reviews but I’ve never hated a company more. I’m also not a person who claims they never write bad reviews and does them constantly, I’m 100% a writer of good reviews when they need to be heard because nobody ever says nice things about companies. They told me if I got the extended warrenty and one of my tires pops then all four would be replaced because I am all wheel drive, SURPRISE! They just didn’t expect me to find out that that is not true whatsoever. Warrenty covers the affected tire and you have to pay for the rest! Scam at its finest. You obviously cannot get rid of an extended warrenty so I’m paying an extra 4K at the end of my loan just for someone’s commission! Now my car is making a terrible noise and I had to wait two weeks to drop it off and ten minutes later they called me to tell me I should bring it to a Subaru dealership because since they aren’t Subaru they won’t cover the warrenty costs. So now I am picking it up and bringing it to Subaru which I could have done two weeks ago. They also claim if you get your oil changes done there only they’ll fix your engine if it dies, I have no proof that’s not true but they make you wait two weeks for an oil change, prob hoping you make an appointment somewhere else. I literally am beyond disappointed with Allen Mello. More
Horrible Service Department If i could give zero stars i would ... My 2012 Challenger had starting problems, crank no start.... waited for appointment date, had my vehicle towed If i could give zero stars i would ... My 2012 Challenger had starting problems, crank no start.... waited for appointment date, had my vehicle towed and left on a business trip. Called the end of first day, Service Advisor said it started right up and they might be looking at a starter or alternator replacement... WHAT... it cranks... there is no starter issue and unless you measured the output voltage while running its not a alternator problem. So he says they're charging the battery overnight. Ok, that made no sense... Phoned the Service Mgr first thing the next morning and appears the work order was written up wrong. I expressed no confidence in what was conveyed, he assured me they'll reassess and diagnosis... end of day was informed battery failed load test and they need to replace it... ok ... but why no start after battery charged... got some xx about computer sensing voltage too low... fine battery changed. Third day... was told "car is fine, started multiple times no problem. Pick up 4th day, long cranked a bit then started... next day no start... Paid $318 for a battery change and problem remains. Even their paperwork states long crank to start. That should of told you something... its not a old beater box, it starts immediately!!! xxx Incompetence is expected with a Shade Tree Mechanic, not an alleged trained service department. I wouldn't waste my time having them take a second look when they clearly didn't get it right the first time. Me, my Challenger and Jeep will go elsewhere. My advise to everyone, don't waste your time with these people, they're clearly only qualified to do oil changes and wash your windows. Maybe not even that. Oh, and I'm not even bringing up the 1/2 tank of gas used and almost 100 miles added to the mileage or the fact they didn't do the inspection. Fuel delivery or ignition problem is my guess unless that was ruled out...which I sincerely doubt seeing as Mr Service Manager had no clue as to what was done. Confer with the technician is all I got... how about "do your job"!!!! You should of personally followed up knowing we spoke, no... your one of those " hands off guy"... hey Mr Service Manager, when a customer expresses concerns, take an interest and do a follow through...don't spout xx about having to check with the technician. Clearly you don't know how to do your job and your service technician doesn't know how to do his. Thats says volumes about this dealership. It gets better.... now i have a bad tire pressure sensor... yes the tire pressure is fine... checking the tire closely it looks as though the clipped the rim.. More

I brought a 2001 jeep grand Cherokee to the service department to hopefully have the cpu rebooted as the car would start but shut off right away. I was informed that the cpu was worn and needed to be replaced to the tune of 1080 dollars to include the diagnostic on the vehicle. I informed them I was not going to get in replaced and would be back in a week to have the vehicle towed away. First most places would wave the diagnostic fee but doesn't matter in this case. So on Friday I called six hours ahead of time to let them know that I would be there at 3pm to have the vehicle towed. I get there at 230 to take care of the paperwork. Then I had to find my own vehicle, they didn't have it ready. I find my vehicle and the drivers side window had a trash bag over it because after working on the vehicle they couldn't get the window back up and instead of jumping the battery(which fixed the problem by the way) they left it like that. Than when I popped the hood to look, THE MECHANIC DIDNT EVEN BOLT THE CPU OR THE WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID CONTAINER BACK TO HOW THEY WERE WHEN I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE IN. I FEEL BAD FOR THE GENTLEMAN HELPING ME BECAUSE HE WAS NEW AND HE DID REFUND MY MONEY. JUST BECAUSE I DECIDED NOT TO GET THE WORK DONE THEY JUST DECIDE TO LEAVE THE VEHICLE AS IS? WHAT A JOKE THIS PLACE IS. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. IN FACT I CANT EVEN GIVE THEM A STAR. I THINK THEY OWE ME A STAR. AND THEY SHOULD FIRE THAT MECHANIC. MAKES ME WONDER IF I EVEN NEEDED A NEW CPU IN THE FIRST PLACE. THE ONLY SOLACE I CAN GET IS THAT THEY DID PUT WORK INTO IT AND DID IT FOR FREE AS THEY REFUNDED MY 120 DIAGNOSTIC FEE,WHICH IN FACT THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME MORE ON TOP OF THAT. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.... More

During my checks on the vehicle I found 2 recalls open on the vehicle so I contacted Allen Mello Dodge/Jeep service. I told them the situation and we made an appointment to have the vehicle brought in to take care of this. As I mentioned I did not buy this vehicle there and was never a customer of this dealership prior. I showed up, they took all the information needed and performed the recall service without question. Very friendly representative who took care of the paperwork and pleasant to deal with. While there I had them do an oil change, considering it is a dealership I think the price for the oil change was acceptable. They recommended some services for the next oil change which I would expect from any good repair facility. I will use this service department in the future for repairs I cannot perform, I found them to be friendly and fast in their service. I expected to wait 4 hours, I was there for about 2. More
