We are a military family who travels often across country and were looking for something that ran good and could get us from point A to point B and possibly travel from the west to the east coast maybe once every 2 yrs. We wound up getting a 2006 BMW X5 which they kept on telling us it was in great condition, how they had taken the vehicle to be checked at their mechanics and everything on the car was great. Long story short, we signed for and took the vehicle as it appeared to be a good running car. Not even 8 days after having the car the service engine soon light came on, it was the 23 and the dealership was closed on the 24th and 25th so we could not get in contact with them. On Saturday the 26th we drove the vehicle over to the dealership to let them know about the service engine light, they then told us that when they sold us the car it was fine. I could not believe what he was insinuating. My wife drives the car 4 exits to work everyday and 4 exits home. There was no way we damaged the vehicle on a drive that takes less than 10 mins. We then asked him if they would service the vehicle as he kept on telling us that it was something small because it was a misfire, and we still very much wanted to keep it, He then very rudely told us that the mechanic shop does not open on the weekends and that we would have to wait until Monday to take it over, we then assumed and said that they would be taking care of the cost to repair it and he insinuated that depending on the price they would. I at that point was disgusted because no business should be ran in this manner, I have had many cars and worked in customer service for long enough to know whats right is right and whats wrong is wrong. There is a way that you conduct yourself and this was not it. We then asked since we were within our 14 days what options did we have if we wanted to return or exchange, he then told us to bring it back as he could make more money selling it to someone else! I at this point was so furious that I lost my composure! We left the dealership, took the car to the mechanics on Monday the 28th where they gave us a list of codes and told us that the coils needed to be exchanged and that would get rid of the service engine soon light, they exchanged the coils on the vehicle, and when we drove it home that night all appeared well. Yesterday my wife drove to work, parked and as she was getting ready to turn off the car the vehicle started shaking and the service engine light came back on. So not only were they rude to us, but they also lied to us. We took the vehicle over to Tacoma Nissan last night, where they treated us with the utmost respect, allowed us to trade it in, get a 2015 Nissan Rogue with less than 30 miles, with a BETTER bank and better interest rate! I highly recommend that if anyone is going to purchase a vehicle from All American Motors to be prepared for the "by any means necessary" approach that they have. They are very pushy and not people of their word. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Worst Car buying experience of my life. More
