I was told they don’t take service appointments when I asked. While dropping off my vehicle for service, I was told they do take appointments. I scheduled a service appointment for my Tahoe through the email notice I received from Chevrolet (GM) of a Factory Recall to update software in the vehicle. I received text message reminders of this appo the email notice I received from Chevrolet (GM) of a Factory Recall to update software in the vehicle. I received text message reminders of this appointment. When I arrived at the dealership, they had no record of the appointment. When I showed the service rep the reminders I had received, they were able to "work me into the schedule" for an oil change and a look at a very slow tire leak, but they could not perform the software update. I would have a make another appointment for that, which I did. The tire problem was completely overlooked and not addressed. When I came back for the second appointment for the software update and tire, I was told that the update could be done because of the "computer glitch." I was also informed that the tire which they had replaced about a year ago and now had a slight leak, actually has a screw and a nail in it, and it was not repairable. I was then informed that a new tire would not be available until the next day, so I had to leave the car overnight so the update and tire replacement could be done then. Everything should have been taken care of on my first visit. More
