My daughter needed to drive back to summer school in Pa. on Monday August 1. Late Sunday night,I noticed that the tire pressure warning light in her Scion was on. The tires looked OK but I was comcerned abo on Monday August 1. Late Sunday night,I noticed that the tire pressure warning light in her Scion was on. The tires looked OK but I was comcerned about her driving on interstate 95 back to school. When I explained my problem to Paul at Alex. Toyota on Monday morning he said he would work me in. Within several hours, the technicians found a nail in one of the tires and patched it. My daughter was able to leave before noon and arrive back at school in the early afternoon. This is typical of my experiences with Paul at Alex. Toyota. I have been going exclusively to Jack Taylor's Alexandria Toyota for seven years now for all my service work. When I purchased my Tacoma from them, they encouraged me to attend a new-owners seminar at the sh Toyota for seven years now for all my service work. When I purchased my Tacoma from them, they encouraged me to attend a new-owners seminar at the shop so they could explain the benefits of using the dealer service as opposed to quick-lube joints and corner garages. The technicans helpfully explained how all the routine service work was done, how to maintain shedules, etc. It was all so personal, which is exactly the experience one has when you drive in their service bays. No run-a-round, no broken promises, no excuses. They are all professionals and it is a pleasure to deal with them, especially Platinum Service Team Manager Paul Sonnhalter. Five Stars ! More

Regardless of the job is done my car was driven excessively. I believe someone who work there took it home and back. More then 25 miles were driven.... It is stealing. Toyota for a second opinion after another Toyota dealer gave me a suspicious diagnosis, though got vehicle out of 4WD, charged much money for said diagnosis and what sounded like minimal work to effect that return to 2WD status ($315.00), and after the diagnosis, had escalated the repair price $1,000 over "worst case" estimate previously given me by Asst Service Manager at my request when I took the vehicle in...wanted approx $2,800 to repair an actuator; strongly recommended I drive vehicle no further until "fixed." Alexandria Toyota's Sonnhalter (service advisor) worked me into hectic pre-holiday schedule...I had no appointment, got service manager, shop foreman and techs involved in evaluation; decided 4WD system (on our 99 Toyota Forerunner) was operating OK, sensor fine, and no need for repair at this time though problem could, as with almost any part, recur. Sonnhalter fully explained the findings, recommendations; was courteous, efficient, and knowledgable. I was not charged for diagnostic time. Sterian (team leader) took much time to go over 4WD procedure (road test) with my wife who was concerned she might have caused original problem with improper procedure. He was also exceptionally polite, helpful, and informative. Both employees typify service (quality service at reasonable cost) at Alexandria Toyota which I have experienced over 5 years. (Only reason I went initially to another dealer was nature of 4WD problem, fear of damaging transmission if we drove more, and proximity to that dealer to place problem occurred). More

Rob was not who I was supposed to meet on the day I purchased the car, but he took over and took charge and showed my husband and I what we needed to know about the car. He was very gracious and took the time to let us talk it through and decide what we wanted without pressure. The finance manager (Cynthia) was terrific. She also took time to review and give us advice about additional products and services, such as the extended warranty, which we did purchase. She was able to give her personal story about her Toyota and that helped to guide us on our decision making. Overall, my husband and I had a good, strong experience with everyone there. They were honest and forthright with the information we needed to make a good decision on a very important investment. I personally feel that we made a great choice based on the service we receive that day! More
