We have been using Alexandria Toyota to service our Land Cruiser since we purchased it. I have never been happy with the lack of responsiveness from the service advisors, but my wife liked that they were c Cruiser since we purchased it. I have never been happy with the lack of responsiveness from the service advisors, but my wife liked that they were close. The battery died, so my wife used the dealership's online service advisor to find out when it was last replaced. She was told that they would e-mail that to her and an advisor would call her - neither happened. I took the dead battery out, and took it to the dealership, just to find out that it was replaced in April, not so hard took the person less than a minute to look-up. I asked for a replacement and was told that they could not do that and that I had to get a tow so that they could check out the vehicle. I asked if I paid for it and that it ended up being an issue with the battery could I get a refund, nope. A tow will cost quite a bit more than a new battery, so if I am going to have it towed, I will use a local repair shop where I get another vehicle serviced and have been quite happy with. A message to the manager has so far gone unreturned, it is unlikely that we will ever do business with this dealership again. More

I want to share with you the wonderful experience I had at your facility, the Alexandria Toyota dealership, while visiting Arlington from my home in Carrboro, North Carolina. On August 27, 2022, I was in d at your facility, the Alexandria Toyota dealership, while visiting Arlington from my home in Carrboro, North Carolina. On August 27, 2022, I was in desperate need of help for my Toyota Avalon. I drove in to your service department, which was large, open, clean, and with all the team-leaders right there taking care of the customers AND the cars. It was like in the “good old days” when you actually talked to the person who was going to take care of your car and you could leave it there with confidence that it was in perfect hands. Please do not change that close connection between the customers and the service personnel. I was greeted promptly by someone who immediately paged Paul Sonnhalter who made me the appointment the evening before. Paul is the perfect service representative. He listened to me, he cared about my worries regarding the car, he reassured me he would take care of the problem, and he took action right away. Thirty minutes later he explained what had happened, taught me how to avoid the problem in the future, and wished me and my sister a safe trip back home. Paul Sonnhalter., our service adviser, has always gone above & beyond for us. His attentiveness and attention to detail is excellent and getting the work done right the first time has been very important. above & beyond for us. He and Roy diagnosed a complicated cylinder problem for me and were responsive even when I was on the road and the problem occurred. How can you beat such service! My daughter needed to drive back to summer school in Pa. on Monday August 1. Late Sunday night,I noticed that the tire pressure warning light in her Scion was on. The tires looked OK but I was comcerned abo on Monday August 1. Late Sunday night,I noticed that the tire pressure warning light in her Scion was on. The tires looked OK but I was comcerned about her driving on interstate 95 back to school. When I explained my problem to Paul at Alex. Toyota on Monday morning he said he would work me in. Within several hours, the technicians found a nail in one of the tires and patched it. My daughter was able to leave before noon and arrive back at school in the early afternoon. This is typical of my experiences with Paul at Alex. Toyota.
