In May the windshield wipes quit working, in June my front collision sensor came loose, then my cruise control quit working (probably due to the sensor failure). Spent $700 to get it fixed so I could sell it. When I went to sell it, I was told it had been in an accident (car facts) that was not disclosed before my purchase…illegal. I took a $8K loss to get rid of this piece of junk! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! Dishonest employees who just want to rip you off! ALBION FORD IS TERRIBLE!! More
Purchased a overpriced 2015 Ford F250 truck for $25,000 from them just a week ago, August 2023 and I did not even get home before my check engine light came on. I would expect better from a Ford dealer. from them just a week ago, August 2023 and I did not even get home before my check engine light came on. I would expect better from a Ford dealer. Get a second opinion before giving them your deposit. Like I said my check engine light came on not even 2 hours after leaving the stealership. Don't think just because your buying from a "FORD" dealer that your immune from getting ripped off. They push really hard you get a 1 year warranty from them and when you get into the finance dept. you find out they will only cover 25% of the repair and you have to bring it to their stealership so you can pay marked up Ford OEM pricing so your not saving anything. My check engine light says I need 2 catalytic converters and 1 ABS wheel speed sensor not really a big deal as long as you have a extra $3500 laying around plus the $400 I had to pay just to get 2 working key fobs from another Ford dealer since the one they sold me would only work to lock the truck not unlock the truck and everytime you used it to put the key in the door to unlock it the truck it thinks you're trying to steal it and would shut everything down so you see I had to buy a working key fob and I wanted a spare. Plus I had to pay the price on the window they would not budge $1 on the price. Even if you have NO check engine light take it some place and have them scan the computer before giving them ANY money. What a good deal Paul! I won't be coming back! More
We use to be happy with Albion Ford but from this last experience with their service department, there is no way I would recommend this dealership to anyone. If the service is not there then do not buy f experience with their service department, there is no way I would recommend this dealership to anyone. If the service is not there then do not buy from them. My daughter took her truck in on 6-22 because from an earlier visit they told her the timing chains went out. They also told her this would not be covered under warranty. When she questioned this then they and told them she spoke to the warranty department they said they would have to tear it down to determine whether this was due to ware and tear or if it was a warranty issue. They then told her to bring the truck in on 6-22 to tear it down to determine if she would have to pay for the repairs or if it would be covered under warranty. Went today 7-28 and nothing was done with it. Not only were no repairs done but also charged her $330.00 dollars for her to pick up the truck and take it someplace else. The service people were extremely rude and I will no longer do business with them again. From this experience, I would no longer recommend them to do business with. More
I purchased a car here in March 2020. The sales side of things it went relatively smoothly. Before committing to the purchase, I had my mechanic (who I've used for over 15 years) do a pre-purchase inspecti things it went relatively smoothly. Before committing to the purchase, I had my mechanic (who I've used for over 15 years) do a pre-purchase inspection on the car. He discovered a small leak coming from the front engine timing cover. I told the salesman Erick what he had discovered and in negotiating the sale it was agreed that Albion Ford would repair the leak, which they did. Little did I know, until I discovered it months later in October, that when doing this repair they had managed to break two of the bolts holding the motor mount to the frame of the car! They never bothered to tell me and I can only assume they hoped I would never discover the problem and they could "sweep it under the rug". I do a lot of mechanical work on cars myself (I'm an Industrial Electrician BTW) and I discovered what they had done when I went to replace the worn motor mount and found that not only were the bolts missing, but that they had permanently welded the mount to the frame of the car! (Side note: I knew they had done this and that it wasn't preexisting because I have a copy of the Ford factory service manual and the description of the procedure for removing the front engine cover involves removing the motor mount). When I confronted the service manger Neil about this, he admitted that they had done this and he acted like this was a normal thing for them to do when they break a bolt! I made it clear that this was not acceptable, and that Ford Motor Company would not approve either. This is the kind of "hack job" one might expect from some "fly by night" garage in the middle of the ghetto somewhere! Not something you would expect from a Ford dealership with supposedly factory trained technicians! I also made it clear that I expected the car to be properly repaired to Ford factory specifications. They got back to me a few days later and the best they were willing to offer was to remove the welded mount and weld a new one on for me. Still not acceptable, the mount needs to be able to be unbolted and removed to access parts of the engine, or to be replaced easily when it's worn. (Under normal circumstances this part can be removed and replaced in under an hour). Since it was obvious that Albion Motors was going to be no help, I had my mechanic look at the problem. He just shook his head in disbelief and told me there was nothing he could do because when the mount was welded, they filled the bolt holes, so even drilling and tapping wasn't an option. At this point the only solution to properly repair the car was to have a body shop cut the mount off and weld new captive nuts inside the frame. I had a body shop that I've used in the past assess the situation and fortunately they were able to fix the problem for $587.00 I spoke with Albion Motors once again and told them I expected to be compensated for the cost of fixing their "ghetto" repair. I was told they had no intention of doing that and that in their opinion the "fix" they did versus the repair I paid the certified body shop to do was simply a matter of "personal preference!" Unbelievable! If Ford had intended the motor mount to be permanently attached to the frame, the car would have been engineered that way! Since Neil the Service Manager seems to think welding a mount permanently to the frame of the car is acceptable, I guess he knows better than Ford's design engineers! (sarcasm). Thanks to Fender Mender Collision my car is now properly repaired after the shoddy job Albion Motors Ford did! $587 isn't going to break the bank for me, but I intend to pursue legal action to recover my costs, if anything just out of principal. I understand that mistakes sometimes happen, and bolts sometimes break. The difference between a good honest shop and a shop like this is that a good shop will be up front and inform you about what happened and then go out of the way to make things right! Not try to hide it and hope the customer doesn't find it! I hope my review helps someone to avoid a mistake in their vehicle purchase or repair! More

After getting a various array of work done on my wife’s vehicle, replacing the brakes being one of them, we(my wife and I and our young son) took off on a trip down south. 800 miles into the trip and we had our brake caliper come undone and brake pads fall off completely while going 70mph down the interstate. Luckily we didn’t crash but we definitely had a couple close calls. After closer inspection, it’s found that the 2 bolts that hold the caliper together were not fastened tightly causing them to eventually fall out and compromising my brake system. I had to pay out of pocket to get it repaired, pay for an Uber(because a child’s car seat can’t go in a tow truck), and pay for a night at a crappy hotel near Atlanta since we were still 6 hours from our destination and spent 9 hours sitting in Atlanta. I get back and have to argue for a full refund for the repair because they only wanted to offer me half the cost or an in store credit(I didn’t even ask for a reimbursement for the hotel or Uber, even though I should). I just spent $1700 with them and I have to argue to get back $180 after the negligence of the service techs put at risk the life of my family and myself. The person at ford also stated that I agreed to only being reimbursed for half, said he called me and we spoke about it the day it all happened; I checked my phone logs and have no record of that call ever happening, so that also irritated me greatly. We made it and we didn’t die (thankfully), but I am extremely dissatisfied for this and many other reasons I didn’t specify. I can ensure I won’t be returning to this location or recommending it.
