My wife and I had used online search tools in our area (Otsego County) and were having some trouble finding the year, model, trim line and miles but knew we had time to shop.Then, before an unrelated trip to Syracuse, I looked in that area and came upon a car the checked all our boxes at Alan Byer. I had called before to make sure the car was still available, and when we arrived we were introduced to Anthony Forte and the car was outside waiting for us. Anthony was friendly and knowledgeable and invited us to take a test drive. We both liked the car so we returned to the office to discuss price and ask questions we had about the price. We were immediately given the Carfax report and Anthony showed us the price and told us there wasn't much room for discounting it but we would get whatever the car needed for this number. When he delivered the auto 3 days later it had new high-quality tires, a new battery and had been beautifully detailed. We decided to accept what research said was a fair price considering the low mileage because the CRV is one of the most popular cars around. All in all, this was an easy experience and if you're looking for a car, I would certainly consider Alan Byer Volvo and if you want a used vehicle, ask for Anthony. More

While our salesman Braden was very kind and informative about the Volvo brand, we unfortunately had a horrible experience with the Sales Manager Chris. His long-winded answers was condescending and had an about the Volvo brand, we unfortunately had a horrible experience with the Sales Manager Chris. His long-winded answers was condescending and had an “always right” attitude. All while belittling the customers views and disregarded our needs/wants. While we cannot say enough positive things about the Volvo brand, we had to go elsewhere to purchase our new Volvo. I encourage further training for the sales manager to properly speak with customers. Especially with customers who are serious about purchasing and travel an hour and a half for a service that is expected when purchasing a luxury SUV.. Thanks to Best Volvo in Rochester we are now a proud owner and of a new a Volvo! More

She truly went above and beyond, I left there feeling confident that Alan Byer's is looking after my best interests. From my advisor Brook right down to the person who cleaned my car it was a great experience. I waited for my repair in their newly renovated waiting room, I was somewhat puzzled how to use the "gourmet" machine. The woman sitting at the greeters desk saw me and immediately came over and explained how to use it to me, also showed me the tv and remote. To my delight there was also a basket of "goodies" which the same woman pointed out to me. My car was returned to me washed and vacuumed, truly impressed by this team. More
