In 2010 when Buick introduced the all-new LaCrosse, I wanted a specific model/options but couldn't find it. I had been to 5 different dealerships throughout the Detroit Metro area and salesmen there all explained "it's not so much about what you want but what we have - and the car (options/trim combo) you want doesn't exist." I got the same message when I went to Serra Buick in Grand Blanc and since there Cadillac showroom was next door, I thought I'd go see what they may have since I couldn't find a LaCrosse. I sat down with Jim Papatheodore and we talked about alternatives but then asked what I really wanted, so I told him about the LaCrosse. He was surprised that no one was able to help me and said "give me two days," which I did. After 2 days, Jim called me back and found exactly what I wanted - 2 in fact: 1 in Escanaba and 1 in Columbus, OH. He went above & beyond what anyone else had done and because of that, he has earned my business several times over. Since the dealership is 45 minutes form my home, there have been times when they've brought loaners to my home for routine and warranty service - again, much more than one could ever expect of imagine from most dealers. In the past 7 years, I have bought/leased 5 vehicles from Jim and look forward to my next vehicle from him as well. More
