Yuliana was a delight to work with. Honest, caring and just a nice person! Made the pain of purchasing a new vehicle somewhat pleasant. Give her a raise! (but don't add it to my bill!) I was pre approved for a loan through my lender and I was able to use their web based search function to find cars at dealerships that they have a agreement with. I found a pre driven one at this dealership able to use their web based search function to find cars at dealerships that they have a agreement with. I found a pre driven one at this dealership Al Piemonte and I emailed and Natalie a salesperson called me about the vehicle and we made arrangements to come up there Sat to check out the car. I told her I was pre approved and planned to buy a car that day. Since it was a PHEV I asked her to charge it so I can check the EV function of the car and I told her I would need extended warranty prices/options because although it was still in new car warranty it would run out in 1 year. She followed up with a text that gave her name, number and the address to the dealership which was helpful since we were coming from 1 1/2 hours away. I arrived that Saturday during a drizzle and spoke to a different salesperson Eddie because Natalie wasn't available. He was very nice, friendly and personable and gave me the keys to the car very quickly. I did a walk around the car and observed the interior was dirty, the charge cord was just thrown in he back instead of being placed out of view in its compartment and they did not charge the HV battery as requested. I drove the car and was satisfied and came back and ask the sales person for the extended warranty options. He asked us to sit and wait and we waited. During that 20-30 minutes I overheard a very loud, self assured, long story employee telling long tales to an older couple who visibly was not enjoying his presentation. The salesperson came back and asked did someone speak to us and I said no and he said let him check. Well after 5 minutes who appears but that very self assured individual that blasted that couple out of the dealership a few minutes ago. He introduced himself as the Manager and immediately started telling me stories about his past and I tried to smile and be attentive but after hearing several stories of how important he is I politely cut him off and told him I did like the car and the listed price but would like to get options for extended warranties. He looked shocked and kind of upset and told me wait a few minutes then walked away. He came back 5 minutes later and pulled out a piece of paper and wrote down the price of the car. Then underneath that he wrote down 2 numbers totaling over 5k and I asked what were those and he said something like processing and preparation. I said wait that is over 25% of the vehicle value and he said he didn't know the percentage and kept going on and wrote down $3,900 and said that was the extended warranty price. That number was 20% the price of the vehicle but I didn't say anything but asked him for how many miles, months and what was covered. He said he will be back and that was my cue to save myself from wasting anymore time and I began to walk out. On the way to the door the very nice salesperson stopped us and asked what had happened. I explained what occurred and he looked disappointed and said that is all he can do. I walked out and bought the comparable car that I also found from a nearby dealer. The staff was very upbeat and friendly. I arrived during a special event/sale so they had music and decorations. Everyone was on the floor ready to help any potential buyer which is a plus. The vehicle was nice and price was competitive but I do not like bait and switch schemes and during his presentation I looked online and verified that the price advertised was the final price and it did say net price so I knew that wasn't the type of dealership I like to do business with. I later texted Natalie and asked was the long story man the sales manager and she replied yes. More

Question friends. .. when you take your car into Al Piemonte Chevrolet in East Dundee for service and your car comes back with a new broken part, then when you turned i .. when you take your car into Al Piemonte Chevrolet in East Dundee for service and your car comes back with a new broken part, then when you turned it in for service, what do you do? The week of June 26th I took my car in for a leather seat cover that was defective. I told Carlos that the car had been having issues starting. I said, from time to time when turning the key in the ignition, there would be no connection from the key to the engine. Nothing would turn over and no clicking, from the starter. I told Carlos that it didn't happen every day but I wanted it checked before I was stranded in some parking lot. Also, there seemed to be grinding when accelerating from 35 to 40 MPH. I said I'd heard it while turning as well. There was 1 thing that needed to be replaced and 2 things that needed to be checked. When picking my car up I was told that the seat was done but they couldn't find any issues with the starter, nor with the grinding. I was told that the mechanic hooked my car up to a diagnostic instrument and nothing reported an error. Once I opened the door I noticed the side panel of the seat, which holds the leather to the seat, was gapping. All of the wires to the seat were now exposed. I pulled the car into the service area and told Carlos that this isn't right. I asked how I could bring in my car and have a whole new issue. An issue that would again require the car to be in service! He pulled the car in the back and chatted with the mechanic. He said the mechanic said he noticed that they were broken... One, BROKEN by the mechanic! Two, why wasn't it fixed, or at least a phone call telling me something was broken? First of all, I fix things once they brake or before it's broken. If the cover holding the leather cover to the seat was broken I would have had them fix it. Once Carlos pulled my car from the Mechanics' stall to the front of the building he noticed the grinding when turning the wheel. The same thing I said was happening when I brought the car in for service. When I left I specifically said... (Carlos... when the part for the seat comes in call me. And have a car ready) -Loaner. It's now August 2nd. No call, no concern, no follow-up, no care, no nothing! In 16 months I've spent over $14,000.00 for service to my car at Al Piemonte, in East Dundee. The new block that they said I needed @ $4,450.00 is doing the same jerking that it did, when I brought it in last year. Truly what is going on at this location? Are sales so, so, so low that the Service Department is the sole source of income? Because truly... How do I know I even received a new "Block"? Or is a new Block only supposed to last a year? @$4,450.00? I was charged for a diagnostic check, @ $200.00 plus, that said nothing was wrong but Carlos acknowledged that there was an issue. Is this location ONLY relying on a diagnostic meter and not personally driving our cars anymore? In closing, I'm still waiting for a phone call to fix what the mechanic broke. I was stranded yesterday because the key wouldn't ignite the engine and the grinding is getting worse, and the new Block didn't fix the jerking. Something has drastically changed at this location. It's EXTREMELY sad. Though the only 2 people I trust there are Carlos and Dennis. I could see in Carlos' eyes he was pissed this was happening to a Preferred Customer. At least that's what the sticker says on my front windshield. Which friends means NOTHING! Has anyone else had issues with the Service Department? You can go on to my Facebook page to comment. -David Gaffke More

The ca When got to the Dealership, it was a different Salesperson. Sold me a car that I saw on their website for more than the price on the website. The car was sold to me as a new car, however it had over 6000 miles on it. No sticker on the window. Ask for it, never got it. Took it in for 1st. oil change and charged me for it. Salesman stated that my 1st. oil change would be free. Failed to tell me it had to be within a certain time. Took the car in for service do to smelling gasoline in the oil. They told me they found the problem and fixed it. I would think after fixing the problem they would of drained the oil and put fresh oil in. It still smells like their is gasoline in the oil. I am thinking they did not repair the problem. I have bought Chevys from other Dealership,APC is the worst. More
I was recently looking for a car, I went to this dealership to look at a used vehicle I saw online. Knew there wasn't really anything else at the dealer I would be pursuing. The sales person Darrick dealership to look at a used vehicle I saw online. Knew there wasn't really anything else at the dealer I would be pursuing. The sales person Darrick was extremely friendly and helpful but he was put in a bad spot. The car was in service and he wasn't able to get the keys for about 30 minutes. The car was noticeably older than a similar car I had found at another dealership around the same year so decided to move forward with the other car. They wanted to check if maybe they had something else I might be able to drive, so a manager named Manny came over and without introducing himself said "I hear you're looking for a unicorn". I am a salesperson myself and that's easily one of the worst things I've ever heard someone say to a prospect. More

Drove in to look at a specific vehicle to be a secondary vehicle for our family. The salesperson, OT, was great to work with, and the price for the vehicle was reasonable. I’m sure we would have closed the vehicle for our family. The salesperson, OT, was great to work with, and the price for the vehicle was reasonable. I’m sure we would have closed the deal and worked through the small issues with the car (chipped windshield) however, when we go to close, the 14,500 car became 18,000 because of “dealer add-ons” that are practically useless - all of which weren’t listed online. So, keep in mind any cars you look at online with be 20% more when you get there. More
