Was disappointed when we liked 2012 Highlander and could not receive that 0% finance offer....... Felt since we were willing to purchase 2012, there could have been a better promotion.........Also we did speak with Manager of new and used car who worked to get us a more affordable deal... Al Hendrickson Toyota drives a hard bargain but, I like how they gave a little lead room to negotiate. Went several times to look at cars. Got pummelled with phone calls from them afterwards. Negotiated a deal over the phone for an exact price for the car we were interested in. Deal was approved by salesman and his manager...but only for that day. Went in and they told me they couldn't honor the deal. That the salesman's job was to get me into the dealership and he didn't have the authority to set a price. Huh? More
Constantine Dino White approved me for used vehicle car financing with santander consumer USA. My deposit check for 700.00 down was cashed by Al Hendrickson Toyota. Constatine told me prior to driving the vehicle off the premises that another deposit of $2000.00 is required by the bank, he also had me signed proof that my check for $2000 would not be deposited until 30 days from the date I purchased the vehicle. The dealership will hold the check. All of this happened on Sunday 5/22/11. Constatine called several times and left messages on my phone to say the bank has decided to lower my monthly payments and he was happy for me but I need to bring my telephone statement (additional information required during the sale)and sign some new documents to lower my payments. I told him that I have to bring the vehicle in on Saturday 5/28/11 to check on some services issues, he told me to drop the vehicle off at the service desk and come to his office. After a long wait on him he finally arrived close to 12:00 noon. When I walked into his office the first thing he told me, he had bad news and that he has to take the vehicle back because the bank requesting an additional $5,000 plus deposit in order for me to keep the vehicle on the spot. I asked him, will they give me time to come up with this mone? He said no, this additional deposit must be paid today (Saturday).This Individual was very cold and careless, I had questions that needed answers and he did not want to hear anything but $$$ or me leaving the vehicle behind which I did. I could not find $4200 instantly. I asked him what about the contract I signed, plates registration, he told me it will all be voided out, to him none of this did not matter. All Mr. White did was to walk me to the door and told me to see the man who drive their shuttle to take me home. He also told me to come back to the dealership Tuesday of the following week to pick up my refund deposit that they had. Consumers, please be aware of the businesses you trust to do business with, there are businesses who has unseen, unheard, unfair business practices that are inhumane. More
I purchased the vehicle couple years ago and it had issues from the beginning, it is a certified vehicle and is supposed to be inspected from day one, however less than a week after the battery died, issues from the beginning, it is a certified vehicle and is supposed to be inspected from day one, however less than a week after the battery died, brakes made noise, and a month later an axel had issues, ok they cover it and replaced the parts, the axel job was bad I had to make three trips to the dealer to get it fix correctly, I was advised to do the recommended service and at the end, many things were checked as inspected and they were never done, as an example wiper blades, I knew they were bad, but they were marked in the service document as inspected, now I,m at another place and I see thet Al Hendrickson Toyota have good customer service but very bad mechanics that service our vehicles.
