Best Independent Dealer I Have Ever Worked With I can't remember when I've had such a positive experience buying a car. I walked into the office and Brad said to find the car(s) I wanted to test drive and he'd give me the keys. No pressure, no salesmanship. I filled out the single page finance application and had an answer from Randy in less than 30 minutes with my options. Brad also offered to bring down any car from the Chambersburg lot if I wished. One car I looked at I was even told it had some service issues so he wouldn't recommend it. Once the car was selected the financing and paperwork was finished in another 30 minutes. The only delay was because, having recently moved here, I had to exchange my VA drivers license for PA. If it hadn't been for that, I would have been in and out with my car in about an hour from the time I first walked in. There was no pressure, completely laid-back environment. The whole time other current and former customers kept dropping by to chit-chat with Brad. The price on the car was just a tad high from KBB, however, this is due to the extended warranty that comes with their cars. But, you can opt out of that and save a few bucks. Everything was rolled into the financing. No fuss, no mess. If you're looking for a good used car and don't at least drop by one of their lots you're losing out on a good car purchase option. More

I paid 7000.00 dollars for a blown up car that should have never passed inspection I have cost them 3sales already the just of the story 5000.00 dollars later my car is fixed. I would recommend calling better business bureau before buying. There was several state laws broken and I believe I will see them in court.FYI if you do buy from them don't finance through a bank.So if you buy junk it won't destroy your credit. More

It was a nice place to shop for a vehicle and all the other vehicles on the lot were nice. I got a great warranty, new inspection, oil change, and a good price. I was treated with respect and was not over run with a sales pitch attitude. I would recommend Affordable Auto Sales to anyone! More

No pressure. I was offered a fair trade on my Honda and good price on the Freestyle. My repair shop mentioned a few minor issues and Affordable took care of them. I would definitely recommend this dealer to others. More
As I was driving past the dealership last week i noticed a few vehicles i might be interested in. so i stopped by and looked briefly at a 1997 jeep cherokee and a 2003 trailblazer EXT. when i stopped it was a few vehicles i might be interested in. so i stopped by and looked briefly at a 1997 jeep cherokee and a 2003 trailblazer EXT. when i stopped it wasn't during business hours so i figured i would look up the cars online to see if they had pricing on them and then i would stop by early in the week to take a look at them. so i hopped on the internet and found both the jeep and trailblazer. the Jeep was advertised as a 1997 grand cherokee limited for a price of $ 2,500 dollars and it was an AS IS. and the trailblazer's price was unlisted. i was leaning towards the trailblazer anyways because it was a 7 passenger and would accommodate our family better. but i was still interested in the jeep. so i stopped down the next business day to look at both of them when to my disappointment there was a family looking at the jeep . i figured no big deal and test drove the trailblazer anyways. after the test drive of the Tblazer i asked if the jeep was sold and i began having a conversation with the lone person working the dealership. he said yes that it was sold and the family was going to get the money for it. he then began explaining how it was a special edition "orvis" edition model and what a great deal it was and so on and so on. i then left the dealership not totally sold on the trailblazer and just wanting to think things over. well as i drove past the dealership later that night i saw that the jeep was still there and it had a pink tag hanging in the windshield, so i stopped and the tag in the jeeps window said $1,000 down. i was a little confused because i was told it was a AS IS sale when the other family was looking at it and now it said $1,000 down. but nonetheless excited about the opportunity to possibly own this "orvis" edition jeep. i called first thing the next morning and i WAS FLOORED! the Gentlemen told me that " they were thinking about making it a buy here pay here instead of AS IS" and that the $2,500 price was a "mistake" and that the price was now $3,500!!!!!! unbelievable!!! ive never seen the price of a vehicle go up $1,000 overnight but he swore that this thing is loaded " it's the orvis edition" he kept saying" so the tag in the window inferred a buy here pay here but hes telling me that its now a $3,500 as is sale. i went and drove it anyways. and when i came back there was another customer having a conversation with the gentleman at the dealership so i sat down and waited my turn. when the sales guy looked up and said "yes sir" i said "its fine take your time ,and when your ready to talk a deal we can" he then said well the best i can do is $3,300 and its AS IS sale" he seemed very short and uninterested in actually making a deal and put me on the spot to make a decision when there was another customer in the office....unacceptable. the biggest shocker is that while looking the jeep over and finding that the heated seats didnt work and that the air con compressor never turned on. i kept looking for something that would tell me that this jeep was a "orvis" edition as was described to me buy the gentleman at the dealership...yet i found not one badge or anything to tell me it was anything other than a limited. so i left not wanting to pay full excellent condition blue book value on a jeep that was at best good condition and selling for $1,000 dollars more than the previous day. while doing research i found information on the 1997 jeep grand cherokee orvis edition and found out i was lied to!!!!!! the orvis comes with two tone green and leather seats..this jeep didnt have it. came with "orvis" badging on the front, rear, sides, interior door panels, spare tire cover...again this jeep had none of that. it also came with a different color dashboard, body color painted wheels. and orvis floor mats http://www.jeeporvis.com/97newsite.html that is what a real orvis edition looks like, so in being lied to, the price bumped up $1,000 dollars and the confusion over whether it was a buy here pay here, or an AS IS sale. im glad i didnt purchase the jeep and i will never purchase any vehicle from this shady dealership. and i will discourage everybody i know from purchasing from this dealer.
