Last year, 2012 I bought a new Hyundai Accent for my self at Advantage Hyundai, to be quite honest there is a Hyundai dealer closer to where I live. I live in South Hempstead. This other dealer was giving me at Advantage Hyundai, to be quite honest there is a Hyundai dealer closer to where I live. I live in South Hempstead. This other dealer was giving me nothing more then a run around. I wanted a certain color, a Mocha Bronze Accent and they did not have that color in stock but promised to get one in a couple of days which then turned into weeks and still no car. I got fed up and asked for my deposit money back when I found the car and color I wanted sitting only a few miles away at Advantage Hyundai in Plainview. NY. I went into the Advantage showroom and spoke to Matt one of the managers there and told him of my problems I've had at the other showroom and he told me not to worry Advantage would take care of me. One of the sales staff showed me the car I wanted and in my color, I got a good trade in on my 2005 Toyota Corolla and a very good price on the Accent I wanted to buy. In less then a couple of hours I drove out with my new Accent and I was very happy! My wife is driving around with a 1997 car and for years I have been telling her to get herself a newer car. Yesterday 4/17/13 I called Advantage Hyundai and spoke to Steve another manager and said to him that my wife is driving a 1997 car and that I would like to see if we could get her maybe a late model used car? Steve told me to come in with my wife and to bring in her car and to see what they could do with it as a trade in. [A 1997 as a trade in? ] When we got there we spoke to Steve and he asked Andre a salesman to take good care of us. I told Andre that we were looking for a late model used Hyundai and if we could get one at a price that we could afford. While I was talking to Andre my wife is walking around the new car showroom sitting in this car, sitting in that car and I see her eyes lighting up so I asked her do you want to get yourself a new car? She said they are a lot of money. We were thinking of a used Sonata before coming into the showroom. Andre suggested that my wife take the car for a test drive to see if she felt comfortable sitting in it and driving it. My wife loved the Sonata! Andre asked us to see her 1997 car and said he will have it appraised to see what it was worth. Andre said to us IF he could come up with the right $$ would we buy a new 2013 Sonata? I said to him that I doubt if your price on a new car will be something that we can afford. Just as I thought the price was more then we could afford. Andre said, let me talk to Matt another manager [ I met Matt last year ] and maybe he could do better somehow with the price? Andre came back with Matt and he remembered me from last year. I told him that we really came here today looking to buy a used car and not a new one. The car my wife loved was the new 2013 Sonata Limited, Matt and Andre went to the office to check something? My wife and I looked at each other and we said to each other,no way can we get this new car. Matt and Andre came back and said with the trade in, a rebate Hyundai was offering on the car and working a little closer on the price could this new price to us work? To our surprise they came up with a price that we could afford and live with! That very day my wife said her good byes to her old 1997 car and smiling ear to ear she drove us home in her brand new car! She was happy, I was happy and Andre and Matt were also happy that they made a few bucks too!!! I like to say that we are senior citizens and that I have bought many new and used cars in the years that I have been around. Advantage Hyundai is one of the finest car dealers I have EVER dealt with. Everyone is always friendly never pushy and we don't feel as if we are being pressured into buying something we don't want or could afford. These guys really try their best to make a deal happen. I know it does not happen every time but at least they try and there is no pressured feelings. Thanks Steve, Andre, Matt and everyone else who works at Advantage Hyundai! Oh, bye the way they also have a great service department there. Not to mention FREE LIFETIME CAR WASHES, FREE MASSAGES while you wait for your car to be serviced and FREE COFFEE AND BAGELS while waiting for service [ get there early for the bagels! ] If you are looking for a new Hyundai ask for Andre he is a very nice salesman BUT fact is, they are all great sales people at Advantage Hyundai. I feel like a spokes person for Advantage Hyundai but I am not, I am a real customer of Advantage. Happy car hunting to all !! More
I recently took my car in for an oil change to Advantage Hyundai. The oil change was complimentary after buying the car. I had figured they would probably rush me through just to get rid of me since it wa Hyundai. The oil change was complimentary after buying the car. Not only did they give me the complete inspection and oil change, but they washed and vacuumed the vehicle also. I had planned to visit the car wash, and was pleasently supprised. One thing I'm always worried about when I bring my car in for service is am I going to find an oil stain on the seat or grease on the stearing wheel. I need not have worried. They placed a plastic cover over the seat, and a plastic stretch cover over the stearing wheel, as well as the customary floormat cover. It's obvious the people at this dealer want to make your service experience as pleasant as possible. More

I feel I got a good price on a new Elantra coupe - we drove 3 cars (the accent and the elantra - a 4 door and the coupe) before deciding on which car we wanted . Took 2 visits to come to a price agreemen drove 3 cars (the accent and the elantra - a 4 door and the coupe) before deciding on which car we wanted .
