Went in for a few maintenance items for my 2017 Genesis G80. Got an appointment very quickly. Work appears to have been done well. Only problem is it appears that someone left a tool under the hood of th G80. Got an appointment very quickly. Work appears to have been done well. Only problem is it appears that someone left a tool under the hood of the car and closed it. I immediately noticed a dent from the inside out on the hood. Went back inside. Was told my advisor had left for the day and there was no manager to talk to. They said they would call me the next day. No one ever called. Mistakes happen and I’m shocked whoever did this just pretended nothing happened There was a fresh greasy fingerprint smudge on the protrusion too. I’m pretty sure this can be easily fixed with a paint-less dent repair. Would be nice if Advantage would reach out, take a look at their camera footage, and own up to their mistake. Instead, they tell me there’s no manager to talk to, they will call me, and don’t. Oh, and why are some Genesis years forced to the Hyundai service center? Another ridiculous thing. That’s not just advantage either. Weird. More
Dealer technician was mislead by inaccurate info on computer. Had to be resolved with sales manager. Upon further revue the situation was corrected. Every service something is forgotten. My next service setting was never updated and I came for service for NO reason, because my car said it was due.
