He does not push for sales or services like other people. You just have to tell him what you're looking for and what you want done. He gives recommendations that's applicable to your needs. Service department itself send to be way too busy. They need more people working and they need more services on the weekend other than maintenance services. I'm inclined to say that for oil change, tire rotation, and 27 point inspection takes about 3 hours here. I was hoping to get out faster than that. More

Ed D’Amato, Service Rep, handled the details with great competence, understanding, and clarity. He also helped me resolve a detail relating to OnStar and ChevyOwnerCenter plans. Because of the extended time needed to resolve the recall issue, he arranged for a beautiful “loaner” (a Malabu) which I had for the 15 days of the process. My experience at Bay Ridge Chev I made an appointment for service for my GMC 2017 Acadia. This vehicle is equipped with a GPS that is not working right from Day 1. It could take fr I made an appointment for service for my GMC 2017 Acadia. This vehicle is equipped with a GPS that is not working right from Day 1. It could take from 5-10 min for the GPS to update its position. And very often it just gets the wrong position. I had this vehicle in for service in November 2018 for this purpose. The answer was that it was working correctly. They probably did not even give it a road test. I made the appointment this time specifically noting on my appointment request that the GPS is not working and exactly pointing out under what circumstances. When I get the vehicle back they tell me we had no time to check the GPS - we are too busy. Well if you are busy don't make the appointment. I can not waste my life coming and going to the dealer. I guess a complaint to GMC would be in order. More
