MAJOR RIP OFF I WENT IN FOR A ROUTINE SERVICE. RICK HILLER CAME OUT AND ADVISED ME THE MECHANIC SAID THAT THE FRONT AND REAR DIFFERENTIALS OIL SHOULD BE CHANGED, AN I WENT IN FOR A ROUTINE SERVICE. RICK HILLER CAME OUT AND ADVISED ME THE MECHANIC SAID THAT THE FRONT AND REAR DIFFERENTIALS OIL SHOULD BE CHANGED, AND THE TRANSFER ALSO, AND DOING ALL 3 AT ONE TIME WOULD SAVE ME MONEY, HAD A $40 COUPON HE WOULD GIVE ME. SAID SHOULD BE DONE AT 24,000 AND I HAD 26,350 MILES ON MY 2013 TAHOE. FROM OUR DISCUSSIONS AS I CHECKED IN HE KNEW I HAD WORK DONE IN WYOMING WHERE I LIVE AND AT ADVANTAGE WHICH IS BY MY SISTER'S HOUSE. EVEN WITH AN APPOINTMENT I SAT THERE FOR OVER 3 HOURS WHILE THEY DID THE WORK. MY BROTHER IN LAW TOLD ME I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO DO THE DIFFERENTIALS OR TRANSFER CASE YET. I WENT ON LINE TO THE CHEVY WEBSITE AND THEY SHOULD BE DONE EVERY 100,000 MILES. IN OTHER WORDS, I TRUSTED A CHEVY DEALERSHIP AND THEY RIPPED ME OFF. $600 OF MY VACATION MONEY SPENT TRYING TO DO A GOOD JOB OF MAINTAINING MY VEHICLE WHEN IT DID NOT NEED IT. DID NOT KNOW I SHOULD MEMORIZE THE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE BECAUSE CHEVY DEALERSHIPS WILL LIE AND RIP YOU OFF. ADVANTAGE CLAIMS THEY DO IT THAT WAY ALL THE TIME NO MATTER WHAT CHEVY SAYS. SO THEY GET $2400 PER 100,000 MILES COMPARED TO HONEST DEALERSHIPS THAT GET $600. SO THEIR CUSTOMERS PAY AN EXTRA $1800 PER 100,000 ON NEW VEHICLES. NOT TO MENTION THEY BAD MOUTHED MY WYOMING DEALERSHIP SAYING THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE IT AND KNOWN BETTER TO DO IT ON MY LAST SERVICE. I CALLED MY DEALERSHIP AND DID NOT TELL THEM WHY I WAS ASKING, THEY QUOTED THE CHEVY MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE FROM CHEVY. **AND**THEY TOOK OUT APPROX. 12 PSI OUT OF EACH TIRE, SO MY TIRES WITH 51 PSI MAX HAD APPROX. 35 LBS. IN THEM. I HAD TO STOP AND FILL MY TIRES AFTER THEY TOOK AIR OUT. **AND**THEY FAILED TO RESET THE OIL CHANGE DUE/PERCENTAGE GAUGE, SO DID THEY REALLY DO ANY WORK, OR DID I SIT THERE FOR 3 PLUS HOURS FOR NOTHING. I HAVE ZERO FAITH OR TRUST IN THIS DEALERSHIP AND I WILL NEVER BE BACK. I WILL GET MY TAHOE SERVICED AT A DRIVE THRU 10 MINUTE LUBE TYPE OF PLACE BEFORE I GO BACK THERE. More

It is truly a great experience to deal with such experts in the automotive business that caters to your every need in the sell of your car and the maintenance is such a refreshing feeling. The staff is not only great at giving you information on everything that GM has to offer but also clubs, events and even after market things that you may want for your car. They are the best Dealership that I have ever done business with. I have to take my hat off to Ms. Krystal Roberts. Great Service Department I recently bought two new Chevy cars about a year ago. I had a window trim part that came off when I was driving down I55. I took it back to the deale I recently bought two new Chevy cars about a year ago. I had a window trim part that came off when I was driving down I55. I took it back to the dealership I bought it to have the new part installed which only snapped on. I sat in that dealership for 3+ hours. After that I refused to take my car back there for service so then on my first oil change I took it to Advantage Chevy I was informed at the time of the write up about 1 1/2 hours which it took less. So the follow weeks I brought my wife car in for the same thing and same great service. I always been dealing with Katie and Jim. If I heard correct they are short on service advisors and these two are doing a great job with handling all customers with great service. I currently work for JB Hunt Transport in Chicago on Archer and 47th we have 12+ Chevy pick up trucks that we use in maintenance department which because of the great service I got while taking my personal cars to Advantage. I spoke with my people and we now service our trucks there thanks to the great service provided by Katie and Jim... Keep up the great work... More

She then asked if I would be willing to listen to someone and see what can be offered for my vehicle and introduced me to Chad Fensin whom really worked with me to get the monthly payment I was looking for nd I left with a 2015 Impala. Chad was great in the service he proved and answered any questions I had, I was most surprised when I receive a follow up phone call from Chad the evening I purchased my vehicle. I also was serviced by Charlie Munoz and Mark Ott. I can say I am pleased with my experience and the purchase I made today. I would recommend Advantage Chevrolet to anyone. More

She even came to see me the second time I was at Advantage. Next she introduced me to Tom Hackett in sales who was the best salesman I ever had. He also made me fill very comfortable and I would go back to in a minute for another car. I came in with a 2010 and left with a brand new 2014, he's the best. I came back and Tom Hackett introduced me to Mark Ott who too was the best and took very good care of me and also returned my call. I'm very, very satisfied, Ed Wolak, jr. More

The voltage on my 2012 Avalanche had dropped significantly. It had done this the day before too and the truck had begun running rough. I thought it might be my high output alternator acting up, so I had my original factory alternator put back in. That was when it acted up near Advantage. I told them what was going on. They told me it would be about 5 hours before someone could look at it, but they were going to put one of their good electrical techs on it. I ended up leaving the truck there and continued onto Indiana in another one of my vehicles. After 24 hours of my vehicle being in their shop I was told that it was my alternator. They put in a high output GM alternator into my truck at the cost of $720.91. I picked up my truck the next day and took it home. Within a couple of days I was once again losing voltage. I took it and had the battery checked. It tested at 65%. I replaced the battery, and I have had no issues since. It appears based on their paperwork that the battery was never tested. Based on the status of the battery it also seems that my alternator was not the issue which was confirmed when they told me that my factory alternator tested fine. I contacted their Service Manager Len Paluch to discuss my service. Two days later I received a call from a gentleman named Jim. I am assuming he was from service. He apologized about the issues with my truck and was happy to hear that I got "the Gremlins out of my truck." He also said that they should have checked my battery and speculated that maybe there was something wrong with their testing equipment, but that is as far as he went. At no point in time did he offer to refund all or even a portion of this unneeded part. I have been informed that there are systems in place for situations like this where GM can cover things like this under some warranty when their dealerships drop the ball. I mentioned this to Jim and pretty much got no response. I am annoyed that they aren't stepping up to take care of this repair. I am also angry that their Service Manager, Len Paluch, didn't think my complaint was important enough for him to call me back. I will continue to pursue this complaint with GM. Very disappointed in this dealership as a long time Chevrolet owner. More
