Never been to Hawk Chevy before, but drive by it on the way to the office. Did some searching online and they had the best prices on the new 2015 Tahoe. They appraised my trade in quickly and we came to an agreement on the price. Shadi worked with his associates to keep my payments where I wanted them. Good Experience Shadi Ahmad helped me and my wife find the Traverse we were looking for. SCAMMERS THEY WERE CHARGING ME FREIGHT AND DESTINATION FEE OF $750 AND ANOTHER $250 FEE ON TOP OF TAX TITLE AND LICENSE ON A INTERNET CAR PRICE. WHEN I QUESTI THEY WERE CHARGING ME FREIGHT AND DESTINATION FEE OF $750 AND ANOTHER $250 FEE ON TOP OF TAX TITLE AND LICENSE ON A INTERNET CAR PRICE. WHEN I QUESTIONED WHY FREIGHT AND DESTINATION FEE AND THE $250 FEE WAS BEING CHARGED SINCE THE CAR I WANTED TO BUY WAS AT THERE LOT THEY REPLIED ITS STANDARD FOR ALL DEALERS TO CHARGE THAT IN PURCHASING A CAR. I TOLD THEM I HAVE BEEN TO OTHER DEALERS BEFORE GOING TO HAWK CHEVROLET AND NEVER DID OTHER DEALERS CHARGE ME FOR THESE FEES. BEWARE CUSTOMERS FOR THE EXTRA FEES YOU WILL BE PAYING AT THIS DEALERSHIP. NEVER BUY FROM THEM. I WALKED AWAY AND I TOOK MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE AND BOUGHT A CHEVY FROM ANOTHER CHEVY DEALER AND I WAS NOT CHARGE $750 and $250. More

WhoAreThesePeople!!!!! 1) Accepted an offer for used car on web page than say the price is "non-negotiable" when I arrive at dealer!!!!!!!!!!!! 2) Contact person NEVER 1) Accepted an offer for used car on web page than say the price is "non-negotiable" when I arrive at dealer!!!!!!!!!!!! 2) Contact person NEVER MENTIONED price non negotiation while she was pushing for me to 'come on down'!!!!!!! 3) The car was NOT on the lot and the sells person seems to think it is in "CAR HEAVEN" or whatever!!!!! After some prodding him admitted if was down on Roosevelt Road or some other "God Awful" place!!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS DEALER!!!!!!! More
Horrible dealer experience The worst dealer that I visited out of the five I went to buy a used car. The salesman was nice but very pushy and he would get tripped up in his lies. I understand you have to ask for the sale but not a million times. He also does not know how to answer customer questions. When I asked him about the GM recalls, he just said it wasn't anything major. WOW. The manager was also pretty shaky and shady. I asked a question about the amount financed and he insisted the SUV had to be sold at this price and I could not put more money down because of the bank terms. He asked another manager about this and he had a different answer. They should not ask questions to fellow employees when they are lying to customers. They don't get the same answer and they look very bad. This dealer ran my credit TWICE in two days. I don't know why but the second time I came back to take a car to MY mechanic, the car magically disappeared from the lot. The salesman said they were not going to sell it because there were other things wrong with the car. This was the same car the manager had told me "it was one of the cleanest car they have taken in" . After a bait and switch into a SUV that was $1500 more, they wanted me to take that SUV to my mechanic so I asked what the price was. The salesman said it was in the same ballpark. I insisted on getting the numbers before getting the SUV checked out. The manager then came over to me and said I ruin the previous deal because I was looking at another SUV at another dealer. The dealer went from no trade in, to having to trade in car for $1000 AND payments went up $70 per month and longer term. I told salesman that was a pretty big ballpark but he thought the deal was close to the other. Worst salesman, worst manager, worst dealer. Avoid this dealer. More
Great Buying Experience I had searched for over a month for a 2015 Chevy Suburban LT with the options my wife and I wanted. I had visited three local dealers and contacted se I had searched for over a month for a 2015 Chevy Suburban LT with the options my wife and I wanted. I had visited three local dealers and contacted several others over the internet. Hawk was not one of the initial contacts as they are close to 50 miles from our home. The first dealer I visited acted as if he was doing me a favor showing me a vehicle. The second dealer gave me a lowball price over the phone, had me come in, and then claimed he couldn't find the vehicle that he had given me a price on. The third dealer also quoted me a price and said he could immediately get the Suburban we wanted. Over the next few days he kept calling me and each time he called he raised the price and still had no Suburban for us. That's when I looked outside our area and found the vehicle we wanted at Hawk Chevy. I contacted them via the internet and was immediately called by Stan Kolendo. I explained what we wanted, my experience with the local dealers, and what we were looking to pay. Within two days Stan and I negotiated a price over the phone and Hawk was able to get the vehicle we wanted (subject to test drive and inspection). We came in, examined the vehicle, and made the purchase. Stan is very knowledgeable when it comes to Chevy Suburbans and Tahoes and explained in detail all the features on the newly redesigned Suburban. In addition, I feel like we got a good deal and we were not jerked around. I've bought a lot of new cars over the years and this is without a doubt the best car buying experience I've ever had. Great Salesman, Great Dealership, even the Finance guy was a pleasure to deal with. Well worth the drive. More

Will be trading this vehicle in to another dealership ASAP anyone who asks me I tell them never to go to Hawk Chevrolet! Go any where else but there! And I dont even want to talk about the service department...and the girl that walks around in there...thats a whole other story! Please avoid this place! More
