Once I decided on the 2011 Chevy Malibu he took me to the lot and described the car to me from bumper to bumper, I thought that was amazing! He really made me feel comfortable and knowledgeable about the car I wanted to take home. You know what they say, maybe it's just me, but I did not have a pleasant encounter with Jim, the Internet salesman. First, he seemed to take exception with the offers that I was making ($1200 - !500 below have a pleasant encounter with Jim, the Internet salesman. First, he seemed to take exception with the offers that I was making ($1200 - !500 below asking price) for the new car I was interested in. I was doing comparison shopping and was trying to work the best deal, so I gave it a couple of days before re-engaging with him. I checked on their website and noticed the car I was interested in was reduced by $3000 due to a promotion they were having, so I called and told him that I wanted to purchase the car at the asking price, but out of the door. He told me that this deal would not happen. I asked him for my final price and he quoted me a final price $250 more than original quote ($37450) I was given before their discount. Initially, I thought this was a good deal and was rather disappointed because I was ready to drive over 4 hours to pick it up the next day, but it turned out to be an old bait and switch routine. I won't tell anyone not to use this dealerships service because they could very well be good at what they do and could have some very good people working for them, but I did not have that experience.
