I did get a response back from what I believe was the dealership manager stating that he thought the offer was a little low but the Sales Manager for that car would get back to me - which he was copied on. Never heard from him so about a week later I sent a follow up email to both and stated I had not heard anything so I took my business elsewhere. I then got a snarky email back from the Sales Manager (Don Roveto) stating a response wasn't warranted because he thought my offer was a joke. I've been in sales for over 20 years and my father actually sold cars for awhile so I was blown away by the rude response. A professional response could have gone two ways - either they respond back saying No Thank You, that offer is too low and we will be unable to offer any additional discount, or respond back saying the offer is too low but here is what we can do. It's called Negotiation and if there is no Negotiation, then you can professionally state that if the online price is not negotiable. Obviously this dealership has a lot of work to do in the customer service area. Not sure if the problem is just this bitter Sales Manager, or the dealership as a whole, but I will never shop there again and I would recommend to anyone to stay clear of them as well. More
