I am a very picky car person, I had a lot of requirements that I wanted in a car and I didn't feel like I needed to make a sacrifice but was enlightened on the reality of what car suited me for my current situation while I continue to work and save for my dream car. I will always recommend this company and tell any one that's interested or that's buying a car to go here and speak with Bill Harper!!!! I have a great Buick, not a lemon, for a price that I can afford and still maintain the lifestyle I enjoy! More
Not Truthful On Vehicle Condition. I worked with Teddy Williams in good faith to purchase a 2006 Mercedes E350. Unfortunately, I was not told the truth of the issues with the vehicle wh I worked with Teddy Williams in good faith to purchase a 2006 Mercedes E350. Unfortunately, I was not told the truth of the issues with the vehicle which became a nightmare. The car had dry rotted tires, which went flat in one week. Check Engine light is on, told bad gas. Turns out needs $1,000 sensor and filter. Found mildrew in vents, hard to clean. Needed new batteries, takes two costly ones. In all, over $3,000 repairs needed on a car I just purchased. Very bad experience. I am disabled with limited income so this has been a real burden that the dealership should make right. More

Bought used car We traveled 3 hours to buy a car I found on the internet and spoke with Lamar the salesman who said he had it checked out before we got there. When I got there to buy the car in CASH the car had issues and the salesman Lamar said it will only take 30 minutes to fix the issues we discovered. Two hours later we were still there so we decided to leave but Lamar said that he would workout price reduction. I should of walked away but my daughter really wanted this car. I wouldn't recommend LAMAR or this COMPANY!!!! TYPICAL CAR SALESMAN!!!! More

Well, my new jo I haven't had a car note in over 10 years. Not only did I distrust car salesmen, I thought it was the best option for me at that time. Well, my new job requires me to have a RELIABLE car, so I went to AAG on a referral. The atmosphere was laid back, friendly and casual - not at all what I'd been used to. My salesman, Lamar, was extremely nice and was never pushy. I'm very indecisive, but he remained patient and gave me all the information needed to make a decision. Because of my distrust of car salesmen, I always researched what he told me; he didn't lie to me once! I'm ecstatic about my new car and would definitely recommend AAG to family and friends. More

LIAR LIAR WE PURCHASED A MERCEDES FROM ADAMS IN APRIL 2014. IT WAS AS AS IS SALE BUT WE HAD CONCERNS ABOUT THE BRAKES AND AN ENGINE LIGHT THAT KEPT COMING ON. T WE PURCHASED A MERCEDES FROM ADAMS IN APRIL 2014. IT WAS AS AS IS SALE BUT WE HAD CONCERNS ABOUT THE BRAKES AND AN ENGINE LIGHT THAT KEPT COMING ON. THE DEALER CHECKED THE BRAKES AND RESET THE ENGINE LIGHT. THE BRAKES WERE FINE BUT THE ENGINE LIGHT KEPT REAPPEARING. WE MET WITH THE MANAGER AND HE SAID HE WOULD FINE OUT THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. HE ALSO TOLD US THAT IF WE WERENT SATISFIED THEN HE WOULD HELP WITH THE REPAIRS...EVEN IF WE DECIDED TO TAKE IT ELSEWHERE. I TOOK AN ENTIRE DAY OFF TO GO TO THE DEALER AND HAVE THEM RUN DIAGNOSTICS. AFTER A FEW HOURS I WALKED OUT TO THE SERVICE AREA AND FOUND OUT THEY WERE DOING THE REPAIRS. I EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS THERE FOR DIAGNOSTICS ONLY. THE MECHANIC SAID THE PARTS WERE ALREADY ON THE WAY. I WENT INSIDE AND SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER. HE EXPLAINED HE WAS FIXING THE CAR AND ONLY GOING TO CHARGE ME LESS THAN THE ESTIMATE I HAS TOLD HIM ABOUT. WE EXPLAINED BACK TO HIM THAT WE WANTED GET AN ESTIMATE AND DECIDE FOR OURSELVES WHERE TO GET IT FIXED SINCE HE HAD GIVEN US THAT OPTION JUST THE OTHER DAY. THE MANAGER SAID I NEVER TOLD YOU THAT...HE LIED WE BOTH HEARD HIM SAY THAT. I SAID I WOULDNT HAVE COME HERE TODAY AND WAITED ON THE CAR IF I KNEW HE WAS DOING THE REPAIRS.. I WAS THERE FOR AN ESTIMATE ONLY. WE ALL WENT BACK AND FORTH OVER WHO SAID WHAT ETC.. AND IN THE END THE MANAGER CHCUK MAINTAINED HE HAD NEVER TOLD US ANYTHING ABOUT HELPING US THAT WE WERE ON OUR OWN AND HE WAS HELPING US AS A COUTESY.. WHAT A BUNCH OF B%*&%$#T... IN THE END CHUCK LIED TO US. MY SPECULATION BASED ON THE REPAIRS BEING MADE ELSEWHERE BY A HONEST MECHANIC WAS THAT THE CRACK WAS ALREADY THERE BEFORE THE SALE AND THEY SIMPLY RESET THE ENGINE LIGHT TO GET IT SOLD. OUR MECHANIC EXPLAINED TO US THAT THIS TYPE OF ISSUE ON A MERCEDES IN NOT COMMON AND SURELY DOESNT HAPPEN IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. WE HAD THE CAR LESS THAN A WEEK WHEN THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THEY RESET IT SEVERAL TIMES. I ASKED THE MANAGER TO HONOR HIS PROMISE TO HELP WITH HALF OF THE REPAIRS LIKE HE SAID HE WOULD AND HE HASNT RESPONDED BACK TO ME. I ASKED HIM TO AT THE VERY LEAST TAKE OFF ONE CAR PAYMENT DUE ON THE LOAN SINCE HE LIED TO US. ADAMS AUTO GROUP HAS LOST ALL OF MY RESPECT. THE HAVE NO ETHICS HONOR OR INTEGRITY. I BELIEVE THE RIGHT THING FOR ADAMS TO DO IS REDUCE MY LOAN FOR ONE CAR PAYMENT. I URGE ANYONE DOING BUSINESS WITH ADAMS AUTO GROUP OF N TRYON ST CHARLOTTE TO BE CAREFUL AND HAVE YOUR AUTO CHECKED BEFORE YOU PURCHASE IT. OR ASK FOR A WARRANTY. MR ADAMS LET US DOWN...HE LIED TO ME ABOUT MY REPAIR WE PURCHASED A MERCEDES FROM ADAMS IN APRIL OF 2014. FROM THE BGINNING THERE WERE SMALL ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE. THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON SEVERAL TI WE PURCHASED A MERCEDES FROM ADAMS IN APRIL OF 2014. FROM THE BGINNING THERE WERE SMALL ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE. THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON SEVERAL TIMES AND THE BRAKES WERE SQUEAKY. THE BRAKE ISSUE WAS FIXED BUT THE ENGINE LIGHT ISSUE CONTINUED. WE SPOKE WITH MR ADAMS AND HE STATED THAT HIS MECHANICS WOULD CHECK THE CAR AND GIVE US AN ESTIMATE FOR REPAIRS. HE ALSO STATED THAT HE WOULD HELP US WITH THE REPAIRS AND IF WE DECIDED TO GET THE REPAIRS DONE SOMEWHERE ELSE CHEAPER BUT THAT HE NEEDED TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE FIRST. I TOOK A DAY OFF OF WORK TOOK THE VEHICLE IN AT 9 AM. AT 1230 I ASKED THE MECHANIC WHAT HE THOUGHT HE SAID HE WAS WAITING FOR THE PARTS TO FIX THE CAR. I EXPLAINED I WAS THERE ONLY TO GET AN ESTIMATE AND DIAGNOSTICS TEST. I WENT TO MR ADAMS AND HE EXPLAINED THAT HE NEEDED TO HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO FIX THE PROBLEM FIRST BEFORE HE COULD LET ME TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE. HE SAID IM GOING TO DO THE REPAIRS FOR LESS THAN WHAT I COULD GET IT DONE ELSE WHERE. I REMINDED HIM OF WHAT HE HAD SAID TO US........ A TOTALLY DIFFRENT STORY EARLIER SAYING HE WOULD GO 50/ 50 ON REPAIRS OR GIVE US A PORTION OF THE REPAIR COST IF I TOOK IT SOME WHERE ELSE. I ASKED HIM AGAIN TO HONOR HIS PROMISE HE TOLD US FLAT OUT HE NEVER SAID THAT. IF HE HADNT MADE THE PROMISE THEN WHY DID HE NEED AN OPPORTUNITY TO FIX IT FIRST. WE BOTH HEARD HIM OR I WOULD OF NEVER TAKEN THE CAR TO HIM OR WASTED AN ENTIRE DAY GETTING AN ESTIMATE FROM HIM....I ALREADY HAD AN ESTIMATE FROM A MECHANIC I TRUST TO DO THE REPAIRS HONESTLY. I STILL AM REQUESTING THAT MR ADAMS MAKE GOOD ON HIS PROMISE AND KEEP HIS WORD AND PROVE TO ME AND ALL HIS FUTURE CUSTOMERS HE IS AN HONEST BUSINESS OWNER AND NOT JUST ANOTHER USED CAR SALESMAN OUT TO SAY ANYTHING TO MAKE A QUICK SALE AND A BUCK. BEWARE OF THIS DEALRSHIP'S PRACTICES BEFORE PURCHASING A VEHICLE. AS WITH ANY USED CAR SALE GET IT CHECKED OUT BY A MECHANIC OR GET A WARRANTY BEFORE SIGNING THE PAPERS. MY BEEF WITH MR ADAMS IS HE PROMISED TO HELP US WITH OUR REPAIRS AND THEN HE LIED TO US BOTH, TO OUR FACE WHILE SITTING IN HIS OFFICE AND STATED TO US HE NEVER MADE ANY SUCH PROMISE. BEWARE OF ADAMS AUTO GROUP...THIS IS MY HONEST PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF MY EXPERIENCE AT ADAMS AUTO GROUP ON N. TRYON ST CHARLOTTE NC JUNE 2014 IF THE OWNER CANT BE HONEST OR TRUSTED THEN HOW COULD ANYONE BUY AN AUTO FROM THEM. I GOT MY REPAIRS DONE AT A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP AT A COST OF $1760.00 MR ADAMS HAD PROMISED TO GO 50/50 ONCE HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM. I TRIED TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE BY ASKING HIM TO PAY JUST ONE CAR PAYMENT ON MY LOAN $450.00 AND NO ONE HAS FOLLOWED UP WITH US......DO THE HONORABLE AND RIGHT THING MR ADAMS STAND BY YOUR WORD AS A BUSINESS MAN AND HONOR YOUR PROMISES. I UNDRSTAND I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE "AS IS" BUT THIS WAS AN ONGOING ISSUE WITH THE ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON THE DAY AFTER WE DROVE OFF YOUR LOT AND TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO GET IT FIXED FROM YOUR GROUP.... Very Upsetting Just barely had my car 30 days.....literally just removing my 30 day tags and there is a problem with the engine. After contacting the sales person TEDDY, who was so eagered to close the sale, told me I was on my own. Its out of there hands now. I am single parent so every penny that is spent counts. I was BAMBOOZLED and no one there cares! More
