Great Customer Service and Pricing ! Acura Serramonte has great customer service. You can see see Awesome Teamwork in Play. The Sales Manager also offered (without us asking yet) how to Acura Serramonte has great customer service. You can see see Awesome Teamwork in Play. The Sales Manager also offered (without us asking yet) how to save more $$. I hate Car Buying in general. But Acura Serramonte made the Car Buying Experience Painless and I felt Good overall. Note that I did not have this same good experience at other Acura Dealerships such as Hopkins Acura where I got my 1st Acura to start with. Big Difference in Customer Service and Pricing between Hopkins in Redwood City vs Serramonte. I highly Recommend going to Acura Serramonte. Make you Life Easier. More
Below is a lette as I sent via Acura of Serramonte's website concerning one of their Internet Sales person. You be the judge: "You have a very RUDE sales person in your internet sales section/departme website concerning one of their Internet Sales person. You be the judge: "You have a very RUDE sales person in your internet sales section/department. His name is David Cheung. I will explain. David just called me today, July 15 at 1229 MDT and his number registered in my cell phone is 650-985-1000. He had called once to follow up but was not effective in delivering the information I had inquired about. I had told him that I'm looking for an Acura MDX about one week or more ago. I had seen a 2011 Acura MDX that came up during a vehicle search I had completed in Autotrader. I basically made him aware that my wife and I are in the market looking for an Acura MDX after having considerd Toyota Highlander, Nissan Murano, Honda Pilot among others. He abrutly decided to take another call or "I have another client, I gotta go" as he told me and in a very RUDE hanged up. The phone called had only lasted less than 3 minutes and I was explaining further our willingness to deal with out of state dealers. I mean, just like eBay, Autotrader, and MANY other entities, know the power of opening to the potential customer from out-of-sate regardless of physical location. Car sales entities, venues, etc, and Autocheck, Carmax, e-opinions, previous customer ratings and other things makes it more easy for potential cutomers to do business from afar. Apparently, Mr. David has not been trained to fully understand the power of internet based sales. FYI, I'm a busy professional with the financial means to own the MDX today. However, just like other buyers out there, I'm taking the time to shop and find good value and a good deal for my next vehicle. I hope someone with management decision authority takes the time to educate Mr. David about the business he responsible for representing, that is Acura of Serramonte as well as the industry. Highly profitable and successful sale businesses are built on solid foundation around well trained salespersons and managers with the right vision, goals and set of values. Mr. David's behavior shows the contrary. I do not need a call or apologies in case anyone thinks is necessary, in fact, I do not want any phone calls from anyone at Serramonte ot its affiliates. I will simply take my desire to make business elsewhere. Sincerely, Mr. William Medina" More
the reason i'm writing a review with this dealer is because of unprofessioalism. firstly, i bough a used 2001 volkswagen golf last october 20, 2010. dan, the used car salesman, was at first ok. i ment because of unprofessioalism. firstly, i bough a used 2001 volkswagen golf last october 20, 2010. dan, the used car salesman, was at first ok. i mentioned to dan that the car needs some cosmetics and also new tires. and he said that it would be additional amount besides the sales price of the car. i also mentioned that the gas door lock wasn't closing properly or flushed to the body. he said they couldn't fix it because its not their brand name. secondly, i asked dan if he could buy a back strap for the luggage at the back of the car from the other dealer. unfortunately, he said he couldn't do that eitiher. lastly, after almost two months i received a letter from Acura of Serramonte that due to their glitch of their smog machine transmitter to the DMV. my car was't smog or not reeived by DMV. I just called around 6:30pm and talked to Raffy Pangilinan and Dave and they told me that I have to give them a call Monday to make an appointment for a smog certificate. Instead of them calling me and giving me a priority over. I would not recommend to all my friends not to buy a used car from them because its not a brand name according to my used car salesman. More
On 07/08/10 (thurs), I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned ’09 Acura TSX. I was told that this company car was in excellent condition. They provided me the 150 point inspection paperwork and the clean carfax ’09 Acura TSX. I was told that this company car was in excellent condition. They provided me the 150 point inspection paperwork and the clean carfax to show me this “fact”. I was given a rookie salesman, Robert, that knew less about the car than I did. He was adamant on showing me the navigation system but wasted 15 mins trying to figure out how to navigate through the system. At one point, I had to help him loosen the license plate holder because he couldn’t figure out how to take them off. Don’t get me wrong, he was nice but truly not knowledgeable about anything I asked. After a few days of negotiating with Jason Gazzano, I shook hands with him on the deal and was sent to the Finance dept for paperwork. (This was the last time I was happy). My finance consultant, Simon, had difficultly getting my paperwork process done in one swoop. Who woulda thought a CASH + trade-in purchase was so difficult. Instead of reassuring me and letting me know that we’d just have to do it in a specific fashion; he continuously say, “Ooooh. Umm, let me ask my manager.” I thought the sale was going to fall through about 3 times. On the drive home, I noticed a whistling sound coming from car. Are you serious? I had the car for 10 minutes! Didn’t you tell me this car was in excellent condition? The next day (fri), I left 4 messages in a 5 hr span to both the sales and service dept to see if I could bring the car in for inspection to no prevail. When I was finally able to reach the POPE, I was told that they were booked and wouldn’t have a loaner for me for a week. Thanks! Did I mention I just bought this car less than 24 hrs ago? When I did get the car checked by another dealership (tues), they told me it was due to a break in the front window sealant. BUT, here’s the kicker! They walked me into the shop to show me evidence of repairs/repainting on the car and that the sealant problem may or may not have been from a possible ACCIDENT! OMG! OH yea, BTW-By this time, I had also gotten confirmation that I was MISSING an owner’s manual and a “interlock” cover. xxx! I immediately called Serramonte and was directed to Sales Manager, Matt, who quickly state that the car hasn’t had any accidents and repainting was “not out of the ordinary.” At this point, how could I trust their word? Matt and I arranged for me come in on Sat. and speak to Rafi about these matters. For the next five days, I never got any confirmation or any follow-up call – even when I left msgs/emailed to confirm. It was like trying to reach the President! When I did come in, I got the run-around and wasn’t even able to speak to Rafi. When I asked the service manager, Chris, to show me everything done to the car (before I told them I had car inspected by a 2nd body shop), he never mentioned the damage. The service report conveniently had this job missing in their database. When I told him to look at it, he denied seeing any repainting even after I told him where to look. Pop quiz: How many “professional” Serramonte technicians does it take to detect repainting that I CAN SEE? THREE. GET UR EYES CHECKED! Finally, they admit to the repairs that were DONE LAST MONTH and brings over the guy (from somewhere across the street) that performed the repairs. He says he’d get me a copy of the report for me. It takes him 20 MINS to get this print-out. Yea, it’s probably fake. He probably just typed it up. Sure~ No signatures, no Receipt of Pymt, “too lazy” (his words) to enter in the mileage, license plate # or the color of my car. Yeaaaa. Thanks for the garbage print-out. Long story short, I’m still trying to get everything finalized with Serramonte. I only decided to keep the car after getting another body shop confirmed that the repairs were strictly cosmetic. At this point, I wouldn’t even let the Serromonte touch my windshield, especially since it was due to their exceptional window repair job that caused the problem. I was given a Owner’s Manual with no cover and was implied that I’d pay for the Interlock cover even though I have bumper-to-bumper warranty! MORAL OF THE STORY KIDS: DON’T GO HERE. DON’T get it serviced here, DON’T buy a car here – especially any USED ones. They only care about getting it off the lot. And, if you even plan on coming back for any other reason than buying another one…geez, be prepared and ready to waste a piece of your life away. I suggest if you are thinking about buying something, get someone to inspect the car inside and out. More
There are many words that come to mind when I think of the sales people at Acura of Serramonte: Liars-- I paid cash for the car I bought, they said they will not run a credit report but they still did. the sales people at Acura of Serramonte: Liars-- I paid cash for the car I bought, they said they will not run a credit report but they still did. (If you really need to do it, tell me! I understand the language pretty well) Apathetic--after I drove back within 6 hours of purchase because the heater is not working, no seem to care. The MOD was shrugging his shoulders. Too quick to get the money but after the sae, they do not care at all. Bad bad Customer Service-- actually the worst I have seen and experienced in my life (and I have had 3 cars, so I've dealt with car sales persons before). Want to see more reviews? On January 19th 2008 My wife had her car serviced at Acura of Serramonte in Colma, Ca. We had the Timing Belt, Water Pump, Drive Belts, Coolant, and Tensioner replaced. We were charged $1070.54 for the Acura of Serramonte in Colma, Ca. We had the Timing Belt, Water Pump, Drive Belts, Coolant, and Tensioner replaced. We were charged $1070.54 for the service. On January 22nd 2009 we were having mechanical problems with the car so we took it to a local shop here in Antioch,Ca. named 360 Auto Repair, much closer to our new address. Upon inspection of the car the mechanic noticed the Timing belt tensioner bolt was missing. According to the mechanic that had a possibility of causing severe damage to the car and also if we were on the freeway possibly causing harm to my wife and occupants in the vehicle. My wife called Acura of Serramonte and they told her that they would not do anything about it because no one was injured. They would not reimburse us for the job that they said they did. We called the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Affairs and filed a complaint and they said they cant force them to do anything. Im not looking for anyone to force them but want it known to other people that Acura of Serramonte will not stand behind their work even when it is life threatening More
Be careful when you buy ANY car from this dealership whether it is new, certified pre-owned or used. I purchased a "certified pre-owned" TL from Acura of Serramonte in Colma which they represented as whether it is new, certified pre-owned or used. I purchased a "certified pre-owned" TL from Acura of Serramonte in Colma which they represented as a higher value car than a typical used car because it must pass a rigorous 150 point inspection. I found out a few days after I bought the car that it had been in a SIGNIFICANT accident. I contacted them to address the situation and was treated with a lack of integrity, complete disrespect compounding their utterly fraudalent sales practices. The DMV investigated my complaint and found out that the vehicle had well over $23K worth of body work done to it, and some of it by their own repair shop. The DMV and the District Attorney are further investigating the dealership and have widened the scope of their inquiry. The DMV is taking administrative action against their license because of what they did to me - they also lied to the DMV investigator. Despite all of this, Acura of Serramonte still believes they did nothing wrong and are above the law. I am in the process of suing them for damages. I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU NEVER BUY AN ACURA FROM ACURA OF SERRAMONTE. More
I went with a friend to purchase a 2007 Acura TSX. He wanted me to go along with him, since I know a little bit about cars. We approached a saleman and asked a few questions. We wanted to test drive a f wanted me to go along with him, since I know a little bit about cars. We approached a saleman and asked a few questions. We wanted to test drive a fully loaded TSX black on black in auto with navigation. He told us there was one outside. It was raining that day. He told us to meet him out there. We waited outside for 5 minutes, before going back in to look for him. He was inside helping another customer. He ignored us when we approached him. We asked the front desk for another saleman. The next salesman took us for a test ride, but was upset at us when we asked him to match the Mike Harvey price. He stormed away to ask his manager for a better price. They said they wanted our business, but could not budge on the price. My friend ended up purchasing the car through Costco. They were able to give him the car for $300 over invoice, and my friend payed the car off in full that day. The sales people at Serramonte Acura are very ruthless. They treat you nice if they think you have money. I guess it is a curse to look young if you are shopping for big ticket items. Maybe I should have driven my new M3 or my Mercedes in. I did not want them to think we had any money, so we could get a better price. More
I just bought my 2005 Acura TL from another dealer. I would never recommend Serramonte Acura. I wrote to the internet sales department. The internet sales manager called me back and said they had a whi would never recommend Serramonte Acura. I wrote to the internet sales department. The internet sales manager called me back and said they had a white TL with NAVI with a parchement interior. I drove 50 miles to buy it. They said they would sell it to me for $300 below invoice, $32,300. When I got there 2hrs later the car was not the one I wanted. The the internet sales manager lady said they just "sold" the car. They said they would sell me any of the remaining cars for $500 over invoice. They did a bait and switch. The icing on the cake was that John the manager offered to buy my 2002 TL-S "at auction" price. $14,800. I traded it into another Acura dealer the same week for $17,000 and got the 2005 TL as well. I would never deal with the internet sales department. They are a bunch of liars. More
